Classic Vee Dub does them, and I'm sure a heap of other onilne places do.

How does that exhaust sound? Is it the euro gt quiet pack? Mine has extractors and is noisy as hell - I got a dB reading inside the car at idle and it was 88 - so for the sake of my hearing in years to come I need something a bit quieter.

As bad as it sounds i have not started it since the resto has begun. It's a lot better than the exhaust i previously had on it considering it was just a pipe welded onto the mounts. what sound deadener did you use?

a woman down the road from me just bought what i think is a 67 deluxe, looks pretty sweet. Took it for a spin and it felt so smooth where as the 71 bug we have is a lot worse. Can anyone direct me to a decent vw mechanic in adelaide?
