Hi
I've met the owner a few times, I'm not sure of his ability but I think he had to get people to do most things for him and pay an hourly rate.
I often wonder what some of things I do to cars would cost if calculated at an hourly rate.
I can often spend a few hours making a bracket etc the way I want it, you look at it and wonder where the time went.

yes absolutely.
firstly. look at the heads. that will overheat in no time in street use.
2ndly. its made from scat parts and some other non suitable parts, and is a type 1 of sorts lol
3rdly. its got pauter rockers and they have seriously deteriorated in material quality in the last year or 2. they will likely to break if the engine
doesn't cook first.
infinitely. etc... etc...
If this person spent 80k or something like that, he/she could of used a better engine than that!

Amazing is right. I've learned more from this thread than from my 50 plus years of 'mucking about' with Volkswagens.

I concur.. you can even get lessons in spelling, however grammar is overlooked; coupled with a TOTAL fail in math..
but you can't expect much from the edumacation system these days
