Yep, and did the refs see the two punches tate put on nsw players, firstly on gallen in the tackle then on bird? Nope. Nsw get penalised for pushing
in the play the ball, yet tate put the first punch on.
Go figure.
Hodges runs behind a player and scores a try, no shepherd/obstruction seen by the refs.
In the first game, inglis drops the ball on the try line, yet its deemed a try.
NSW really won the series, refs calls gave QLD a scoreline win.
The refs had to give QLD those decisions, especially at suncorp - we all know what happens to qlders when a decision goes against them - they get all
hot under the collar and throw beer cans onto the field ala 1988. The refs are all about self preservation.

What a one eyed tosser, so sad when people are sore losers.
You embody the spirit of the NSW team when at the end of game 3 instead of shaking hands like good sports they were sitting down crying.
That's the difference between Qld & NSW - No Heart!!!

Wouldnt worry about it too much lads. This has been seen before. (See quote from Wikipedia underneath) At one stage Queensland won 1 match in 11
years! The planets will re align soon and the world will be a better place. The quote below will give you some idea why State of Origin is like it
is.
In the meantime read this and reflect
Quote from Wikipedia
"Apart from a golden period for Queensland in the 1920s, the interstate series was dominated by New South Wales. From 1922 to 1925 Queensland
defeated New South Wales 11 times in 12 matches. At the end of the 1925 season a Kangaroo team was to be picked for touring Great Britain. Instead of
announcing an Australian team dominated by Queenslanders, the Australian Rugby League Board of Control informed the media that the Rugby Football
League had decided that the Kiwis would provide stronger opposition, and that there would be no Australian tour.[4] The period spanning 1922 to 1929saw no Australian team play in Great Britain, the only such hiatus outside the two World Wars.[5]
The New South Wales dominance of interstate football increased after 1956 when gaming machines were legalised for all registered clubs in New South
Wales. This provided New South Wales football clubs with a revenue source unmatched by Queensland clubs. From this time on an increasing number of
Queensland players moved to the Sydney competition, becoming ineligible for Queensland state selection. Paul Hogan famously told a Queensland Rugby
League gathering in 1977 that "every time Queensland produces a good footballer, he finishes up being processed through a New South Wales poker
machine."[6]
Prior to 1956, Qld had won 25% of series played. From 1956–1981 this number dwindled to only 3.8% with only 1 series win, in 1959." end quote.
Of interest is the fact that, before NSW got poker machines, which led to a heap of Queenslanders showing their real spirit and passion by racing
down into NSW to play for the money (and some of them for NSW), we won 75% of all games!
Its the natural order of things

excellent point mate however to bring upto real time and thank goodness we have moved on..
"Of interest is the fact that" our bretherend south of the boarder ie: NSWelshmen show their real spirit and passion by "racing" or in today's
equivalent, flying up to QLD to relax and enjoy our lifestyle..
But simultaneously seemingly unawaress leaving all their money behind..
we are so happy for return flights to return them from whence they came..
we all secretly know you want live up here but some mexicans haven't got gumption to admit that cane toad piss tastes great..
no wonder the tyranny of pegs upon ones nose to disgise the smell gives the impression to fellow southern mates of having big night out and got into a
bit of the biffo resulting red sore noses..
That's ok your secret is safe with us up here as we see what you all get upto on holidays
ever wonder why pegs are plentiful in holiday accommodation
"Its the natural order of things.."
