I didn't get any pix which is a real bummer. To busy just watching the caos.
I havent been to the drags since the early 70's in NZ when my bro was helping a friend with a blown Holden 186 rail.......things have changed.
Spyder-WISD 07-09-05 11.6s @ 125 MPH
Speedster-WISD Nats 05 14.4s @ 89 MPH
Jet cruiser-Coogee 22-09-05 900 deg C @ 110,000 rpm
Weaseling out of things is what separates us from the animals....................Except the Weasel.

my first run (and fastest) was:
reaction: 0.696 (must have been sippin my latte)
60'........: 2.110
ET.........: 15.480
MPH......: 85.52
KPH.......: 137.63
and down hill from there!!!
Hey Jak, what is the straight length at Oran Pk (GP)?
This was the last run: with a 2100 EFI bug.
Bug..........................Me
Reaction: 0.836........0.901 (double espesso thanks)
60'.........: 2.044........2.012
ET..........: 15.157......15.665
MPH.......: 86.79........80.41
KPH........: 139.67.....129.41
Margin....: 0.573
Must have pulled more than 6K (limit of my tacho) in 1st as I could here it backfiring thru the carb on 1 cylinder.
my 60' time was consistantly faster?
I don't understand any of it!:thumb

The straight length wold have to be at least 2.5 times the 1/4 mile do u think?
I'm hitting 5500rpm in top there.

drags
yeah, me and bel went along too, but only saw one bug (unless they were the same color...)
and saw the speedster having a fang. pity I couldn't see where all you guys were. bug(s) sounded great, and really tore up the strip, i reckon
they kicked ass
great to see the speedster disappearing down the track so fast too
we went up to the grandstand, hung out around the lineup, sat on the hill on the left of the strip, and saw no familiar faces... possibly because your
faces aren't familiar
great night out. definately going to the next one (we should make a place to meet )
let sleeping dubs lie
