Lee,

I don't know if the culprit was the new coil or not, because I did the silly thing and changed the coil before the condensor, and maybe complicated the problem.

I feel it may have been the condensor, and putting the new coil with the old condensor gave the impression of the coil. But, I did change the condensor after fitting the new coil, and still had nothing.

It all came good with the old coil being refitted. I say old coil because it's a Bosch 6V made in Australia.

It's hard to keep a good VeeDub and its owner down for too long.

Anyway, so far so good. Car fired right up this morning to go to work. Actaully looked forward going to work this morning in the Bug instead of the train.
