Wow 60kg!! That's awesome
I still have a few rotary engines to build, so it will be a last minute decision on taking the kombi, but would be a good race with junka, I'll have
to pull my sh!t together with that weight reduction.

Engine and tranny are all stripped down, and look great.
After this years runs, I have decided to advance the cam a little
to get some more lower rpm power,
and I also decided shorten the 1st thru 3rd gear ratios a little.
At both Sydney (and Willowbank testing before hand,)
the car was slow out of the hole,(1.475 best sixty, but usually low 1.50's)
with the 2.90 first gear and 4.857 diff.
At Warwick i tried the same first gear, but with a 5.428 diff
and this was just a tad low, either wheelspinning or hitting the bars too hard.(best of 1.46)
I reduced the start rpm a bit and that helped,
so I have decided to try a 3.0 first gear this year and a 2.0 second, with 1.412 third.
Engine wise, I have a fresh valve job, some new Pauter Rods,
and advanced the cam, with the valve as close to the piston as I can.
I have also added a Raceware 3/8 " stud from the case, right thru the rocker box floor to assist the head strength with those killer springs.
Should be ready in time if I get off the internet.

not much steel left
cuting out everything humanly possible and what we have to put back in is either ally or titanium
