Small update, will organise photos when all is said and done.

Have a 4" narrowed beam and the like ready to go now, 2.5" drop spindles, new shocks all around. Also, running 15" smoothies.

Hoping to install everything over the next few weeks, will let you all know how I go :D

Cool ride. I also have a red 64 bug and am also considering an Airkewld 4" kit. Can't wait to see how it looks after you have fitted it.

Rear dropped, 2 splines on the outter. New shocks in. Plates notched (1" at the deepest point). Also replaced the swing axel boots but the drivers side drum hasnt stopped leaking since we lowered it :( not sure what i would have done to cause it.

She still has to settle down, I havent driven her yet. Little concerned as the external oil filter line is really close to the rear wheel, may need to relocate/juggle some lines around.

Shes also on abit of a lean to the back as the front is still stock height, will hopefully be doing the beam tonight/tomorrow and have it ready for this weekend :D

So its back on all fours now! New beam & shocks are in, all that needs to be done is to bleed the brakes, replace the rear wheel bearings (figured we would do it while we have it apart) and adjust the brakes/hand brake and shes all good to go.

It hasnt been driven yet so the ass still has to settle a little bit but hoping it will be nice and level once it does.

8cm at the lowest point so far, will make for an interesting daily driver, haha.

Honestly, I really wanted to, then I didnt have it done in time for the 17th.

Then they changed the date and I got all excited, accept then I realised it was the same weekend I'll be in sydney :( haha.

Will definately make the cruise down for Das Resto open house though.

Small update.

Had the car back on the road for a month now. Loving it, achieved exactly what I wanted, a car I want to drive everyday (and do) and not get out of.

The ride is rough, but thats to be expected at this height, and really, its ipswich city council's fault for not maintaing the roads

Next will be sorting out some small alterations to the interior, other than that the next big job will be the engine and box, but that wont be for a while yet.

Cheers, Johnny.

Haha, far from stupidity man, some thread are just too long or tedious to read through, haha

Nangkang for the 135's and not sure on the back.

Nangkang are pretty much the only 135's I could find.

Not a great deal to update on. Managed to grenade a wheel bearing on the way back form Dubs at the abbey, it was only 6 weeks old so I'm assuming I installed it incorrectly. None the less thats replaced and shes back on the road. Here is a picture of here from the Abbey, was a really great day, look forward to future shows like it.
