Innovate LM-1 logs up to 40 minutes of data.
Couple that with a good 5 wire EGO sensor, and for under 400 bucks and tuning guesses will be over.

Im considering such clobber myself for more accurate readings rather than the largely useless narrow band sensor and bargraph display I use now.

3756 LM-1 Kit with AuxBox LMA-3, Bosch 5-Wire O2, 10 ft. Sensor Cable, 10 ft. Power Cable, 6 ft. Serial Cable, Each $830 Aus.

LM-1 with a 5 wire wide band EGO sensor approx $580

I also got an electronic fuel pressure sender to go with the kit, 0-15PSI,to monitor fuel pressures. As Wayne said, it is hard to watch the Gauges down the track in the cabin, impossible towatch the fuel pressure one on the Carby in the engine bay.

All up, just over $1k delivered.

Cheers,

Why dont you guys buy closer to home ???

http://wbo2.com/3b1/default.htm  - $ 645 aus, for all the LM1 will ever do and much more, inluding a display and sensor.

I am using the 2BO unit. It has been superseeded now by the 3B1.

I log AFR, RPM... limitless options, connects directly to a PC, or the new one has 1 MB of logging memory. It will log any sensor that has a 0 - 5 volt output, 2 or 3 thermocouples. Also it is completely user adjustable. Shitloads of inputs for you tech heads.

Buy Australian made !!!

Awesome job Wayne!!!

I love the fact that you have patiently worked towards achieving the 10 second run. I am sure my microtech cuts spark, so as not to lean that baby out, it just feels like you have turned the ignition off for a second.
I really want to run mine at easter if they are on. I'll be coming to you for a bit of advice on getting the power to the ground on the starts.

Hey , I got a call from Ray Box today from the sport compact group , informing me that I had won $250 for the runner-up at Summer Slam .
He has advised me very strongly to put the money towards the new cage for the oval .

$250
that will cover your dads exhaust ?............lol

Wayne, even though the wing looks crap and a cage will add weight and people will say it looks like a race car I think it's a must. I will put a cage into mine, but I am waiting for my new bender as my old one has had a hard life and the formers are not quite right any more. So I think I will park it for a while.

I'm still in the good books with mum at the present , as dad told her that my mate Chris ( who travelled down with us to help me ) was driving the Lexcen and hit a kangaroo which in turn tore the exhaust off the car . And she believed him......

Matt, Unless something has drastically changed at Microtech, they dont cut ignition, they cut fuel on both over-rev and over-boost sos not to load the cylinders with unburnt fuel.

The car looks like it works well out of the hole.

Are you still going to put it away or are you going to cage it?

sorry about that guys .... Dean did a new version of the video the night after we installed the first one and it is much better and with the music turned down low so that you can hear the engine screaming !!
I went to upload this last night and deleted the first video , only to discover this morning that my computer froze when the video had loaded just 13% .
Will try again tonight ..........:cry
