I've been flat hunting and hate it.....why isn't the place you are looking there waiting for you the first day you go out and look??? I guess it's

didn't end up going...way too hot and i'm suffering with the flu at the moment.
Have decided to hang on to the beetle for a while...talking to Peter Page the other night(red and black chop top beetle)...he's looking at getting
some vw drag and cruising action happening up this way with regular trips to willowbank for test and tunes. So have started putting the 1641 together
for the beetle.....:thumb
nice day to sit inside with the aircon on and watch Bathurst

i stripped out the interior of my splitty today, i filled up 7 of those big rubbish bags that have there own ties :jesus it was good but because ive
found that the only bad parts of the car are the parts i know of already :duh
this time last year i was sitting up on skyline in a drunk and disorderly state lol those were the days

Its the first time i've watched a full race as well Kafer.There was lots of action so that kept it entertaining otherwise i probably would have lost

Well I spent the day driving again....looking....loooooking...I luv the beach and I was getting a buz from looking around the bayside burbs.....so
many people walking and cycling up n down Beach Rd...a few VW's parked in the street around that way and places I looked at had garages which is what
I'd need to keep the rust away from Bel 
It's not inner city like I've been looking at but it near the beach and still closer to the city than where I am...I luv the berach SO much and one
place was right opposite it in Mentone....the owner seems top be selling as they don't want to pay for the exterior work on the flats that is coming
up.....All I have to do is find out the cost of the improvements planned and weigh it all up...but other places around the area that would be OK as
well....but across the road from the beach and a garage would be ideal....and a reasonably easy walk to the train...
I went to talk to some friends who are into property and stuff but they were out...I need a brain or two to pick
Hmmmm....you can tell I don't follow motor sport too close....what race was on :duh  D

Yeah its always a long & frustratimg road to travel when searchibg for somewhere to live.mentones really nice,but still quite a hike to the city.What
about Elwood although its probably out of control in prices!!??

Keep Bel away from the beach, it destroys cars quick as! I know I lived 20 yards from the beach in Sydney for 20 years and it played havoc with the
body rust wise, a garage dosent really help much at all. The car will still be exposed to salt spray.

Hey Mandie.....I ran into an old girlfriend at lunch time the other day...she's been in Elwood for years now and was complaining about public
transport into the city and how long it takes...sounds as back as from way out here....seems crazy when it's so close into the city??
My head is spinning now....I luv the inner city ...cimemas and bookshops and different people but the beach was is SO nice....BUT the salt....yes a
real worry ....HELP!!!!

tricky....don't want to get trapped too much
OK that block the flat I'm interested in is in...it has a garage for Bel...it needs work but is so close to everything...they have so much character
which I like...getting the body corporate info sent in the mail :jesus
My grandparents lived in one of them when I was young...many moons ago...the old sundial is still out in the garden...not near the beach so don't
have to worry about the salt spray :smirk
