It will be funny at the airport  The doc said I definitley have enough
harware to set the machine off. Just lifting my shirt at the back and showing them the zipper will be enough to make them understand.
I hope some of you at least had a small smile with what I wrote, as well
as a wince. Hey I am still sorta vertical, so I am lucky.
It would mean a lot to me if anyone wanted to pop in and visit. I really am not going anywhwere for at least a couple of weeks. Just give me a tingle

Zac, Its always a smile when a nice looking gal asks you to take clothes off ... it just gets scary when its a 6 foot plus guy with a beard :o
The reason for the smile was that I am lucky, all my internal metal doesn't set them off, it just shows up oin x-rays (don't ask why, it just
doesn't) but I have had to watch as they tried to figure out someones hip repairs and almost made then naked in public! Just imagining Pete at the

Sure do bro! The good thing about the old blaupunkt is they have AM-FM and are swiched for 12 or 6 volt. So I can listen to 4KQ, Hot tomato and Triple
J. Not bad for a radio made in 1954! Gotta hand it to the Germans always thinking ahead.

I had physio today and that hurt a bit. It looks like a 3 month plan to tighten and strengthen all the muscles around my back to compensate for
weaknesses and the muscles they cut through to do the op.
On a brighter note, Fleur took the bus for a drive on her own for about half an hour. I told her first thing to check the tyre pressure and get them
back up. Two tyres were down to 22psi and one 28psi. Good girl put them all up to a performance level 36psi (they are low profile 16in).
She then proceeded on her half hour drive and when she got back, she gave me a big hug (without actually squeezing me) and said how lucky she was blah
blah, not all wifes have husbands that do this kind of thing for them blah blah.
She said she lost all sentimentality for the old 1800 dak dak motor and just about left a wet spot in the front seat she loved it so much.
Well guys, My job there is done!
