Nice!

T4 engine and add a Holset HX50 or a 55 into the mix, 35 - 40 psi of boost, E85, 11.50 - 12.00 AF and 20 dg igniton at full boost and you`re looking at 550 - 600hp. This is the classic mix for the guys from Turbotown Sweden, all street cars with slicks when they have fun at the track. Better hang on!

Some of the Swedish cars here for you`re inspiration; pay especially attention to the brown and while split at 4.30: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpMqqJeq930&feature=player_embedded  it managed a 9.3 pass with a lift in 3rd and 4th because he started to drift.

progress a little slow for Warwick but still confident that we will make it. The engine for my oval is finished ( progress pics will follow ) the transmission with all new ratios was assembled last night , or should I say this morning ( @2am ) and the axles brakes etc will be fitted tonight so that the engine & trans assembly can be fitted.

Ben has also been very busy on his new supercharged engine and Chris has the turbo Vee ready to fire-up . All 3 cars will go to the dyno on tuesday.

heads assembled with the 53 x 41 titanium valves , chevy tripple springs & titanium retainers . to gain a compression ratio of 9.7:1 I have had machined a lower barrel shim of 3mm and an upper barrel shim of 6mm . At TDC the piston protrudes 2.5mm out of the top of the barrel . I have decided to go this way as in the past I have been experiencing abnormal wear at the bottom of the cylinders as the piston had been hanging too far out of the bottom of the barrel at BDC .

Wayne,
I noticed (correct me if I'am wrong though) that you paired cylinders 1/1 and 3/4 together into the divided (twin-scroll) turbing housing.
That is not the most efficient pairing for twin-scroll set up's.
I really think more power could be made with 1/3 and 2/4 pairing in a TS turbo set-up.

Very nice fabrication nonetheless!

WPVW turbo oval progress pics .
The turbo plumbing is painted and fitted to the engine . The clutch has been set up with 210lbs breakaway , and the engine is fitted to the oval . The new fibreglass rear guards have been painted and a bunch of mates help assemble the back end of the oval .

got the oval finished and on the dyno at 10-30pm Wedneday night . after 4 hours of tuning and adjustments the oval produced 348bhp @ the wheels on just 15psi boost . An electrical breakdown at 6100rpm robbed us of the opportunity to put more boost into the oval tonight , but at 2-30am we should get it back to WPVW so that we can get home for a couple of hours sleep before we pack , wash the oval in the morning and drive to Warwick....

arrived safely at Warwick QLD for the VW drags . The oval has been washed , but the final detailing is handled by Lana-rose Bolton ( Chris' no.1 fan)
Eager to run the oval but it is raining . Fortunately I organised a marque for TEAM WPVW
