Bit of a wild weather day for us in Ringwood.
Hot, balmy, beer drinking weather. Tried to move a few cut down trees in the yard in the morning and gave up after half an hour.
No airconditioning, so more beer drinking, then rain, wind and a tornado. Big big big trees went down near our place and put the power out for a
couple of hours, so I sat in the back yard amongst the debris drinking - you guessed it more beer.
Then it got hotter, then the power came on, watched the tennis drinking beer, then the power went out again.
What a day, and to top it off I have to work today.

I'm takin' it easy with the back, it is giving me no trouble, and I'm not asking for it.
Plenty of swimming which is good physio. I am up to 20 continuous laps now, so I'm happy with the progress. Once the garage is built I will set up a
bit of a gym. I'm pretty weedy, so a bench press and chinup bar will be good, along with a couple of bags for me and Fleur. She wants an uppercut
bag also, so that why two bags.
There is also the excercise I will get doing renovating, gardening, car building etc. I have no intention of slowing down, and I tell my physio what I
expect. He likes a positive additood.

oo i just got pulled over by the "nice" victoria police *cough*
evening sir..whose car is this? oh, i think it's registered to my dad, say i.
him: mm, interesting. why did you change your mind at the lights back there?
me: oh, i uhm (wanted to flash my lights at the car full of p platers that just cut me off), wanted to see if one of my mates was home..he lives in
one of the courts just down there (i point for effect)
him: so do you have trouble with the clutch then?
me: it was replaced a little while ago, and it's still a little finnicky..it can be fun changing to 2nd sometimes..especially down i says.
him: can i have your licence..
me: sure
then he goes to check the rego, and radios my licence in (which i hear over the police radio hidden beside my ear)
him: just be more careful with the clutch next time.
me: sorry..i'll try to do that. night officer!

i was very lucky..though i didn't actually do anything wrong apart from "chirping the tyres" at the previous set of traffic lights.
(5minutes before and i was *speeding* (and i mean speeding) down an earlier section of the highway)
so yeh...lucky me..and i didn't even get breathalysed.

Haha, i did almost buy timmys type 3, before he bought it off lisa in lismore and after he bought when it was slammed, it was a nice beast...
I do like type 3s, family wagon, surf wagon, can sleep in them, squares rock...but as a typical male i can only do one thing at a time, and some would
say i cant even do that right...so splits it is...
Kafer, you know i love a good stir...start one, it will be fun.
