Yeah
the driver of the boxter was a female who burst into fits of laughter at the sound of a mighty 1600 twin port roaring away.... I think she thought I
wan't to drag her off at the lights (even though she was behind us). It smells a lot of fuel now, somehow I thinks its going in for a service
rapidly!! (I have checked a few fuel hoses and clamps, nothing obvious)
On a lighter note, saw $2.63 'Driving Miss Daisy' yesterday. Nice catch! seems like a very solid kombi, and you even kept up with me on the
straights (lost you on the turns though)

hey, it's pretty hard manouvering a loaf of bread round corners at high speed... she's like driving my old landcruiser but not so bouncy and a lot
cheaper to run! Though the cruiser used to do 140 down the highway,,, give me time I will master the art She is a good starting point, a clean canvas so to speak mwahahahaha |

Who are which people? the boxter chick was just someone in the traffic behind me last weekend, 'Driving Miss Daisy' is $2.63 HBB with her new
(unpimped) kombi and VWBoy1 (read: Brenton) was one of the guys who went around to try and fix a VW for someone (Jade) last weekend - As in the
'Herbie is sick' thread.
So how are peoles rides? my type 3 is chugging along well now and I can
almost reach the pan for the oval to start working on it again.

Is that price for the shed for someone to finish it totally, ready for you to move in?
Makes life easier if you do it that way. I have to do so much my self, because I reallllly can't aford it to be built by contracters. In fact
construction will have to stop just before the end as it is.

The slab looks like it'll cost about $4000 and I have a price for a portal frame 6x6 shed for around $3800 delivered in kit form. A normal tin shed
would be about 400 cheaper, but I'll get better strength out of a portal frame.
So I'll get the slab poured by a professional and the shed delivered ... then comes the fun day of trying to build the bloody thing!! Can't really
afford to get any one else to build the shed for me, I still haven't got the stove connected (thats about $1000 as I need to run gas lines across the
house for it) and a few other things are left undone so far........

Coming along nicely, but not quick enough. It will be at least 2 weeks until the slab can be done, because of Easter holiday.

to build it for me as per Pete's suggestion)

Pete lucky you didn't lay the slab this weekend with all the rain...or did it only rain in Gippsland were we where
We went to a winery/brewery near Omeo on Saturday and Eddie got a supply of nice ales and stout made using spring water.....very nice :beer
We had a very non VW Easter....drop around the mountain down Gippsland way in Eddie's Vacationer. Went to our first Rodeo in Omeo with all the
mountain men...it was freezing up there....nearly snowing brrrrrrrrrr
I get the license back next Sunday....6 days to go :bounce:bounce
I hope it's a sunny day so I can put Bel's roof back and cruise :kiss

Well the Type 3 has decided I was tajking him for granted, so he spat the dummy yesterday and decided not to idle and run rough. Not happy,
on the other hand I can at least book him in while I am away as when I get back i will have my sister's Golf to drive about in.
