You would just get away with it. There will be times the size will be a compromise and you may not get the best result. Put a bit more thinner in your paint and lower the pressure a little bit.

Personally I always go for a 16cfm McMillan as a minimum, but you are looking at around $1000.

Why do these things have to be such poo.

The inspector came to do frame inspection today and the speedbracing strips on the top trusses are not technically correct, so I have to change them. They are as per manufacturers specs, but they have a bracing plan also and they want it done that way, not the truss manufacturers way. I would have thought either would be fine?

Nah,
I am just about to start th efight with my council over a driveway. They specify a 375mm pipe with 100mm coverage. If I do that it puts it taller than the level of the drive, so I am going to push for 2 x 250mm pipes. I expect a huge fight.
It would seem that the majority of the folk who inspect do not have the technical (ie: engineering) background or extensive trade experience and so follow the one set of drawings that have been certified and do not think outside of those guidelines. I even got told by the inspector who came to look at my drive "Don't look at any of the other drives in this street, they are probably all illegal, I just don't have the time to look at them", yet he said he would have enough time to come out and inspect mine after it was built!!

hey pengy, no action day 4 us. Thor is doing the full on uni thing (the bit where she fully stresses out, hands stuff in, then gets good marks and we all say 'told you you'd do well' ;) ), I am moving all the heavy stuff in dad's delcia (mmduh loike I am going to stress daisy's little donk when I can trash dads van instead, it's just a big moving rice steamer so it deserves it ;) ). Thats sheduled for sunday after he gets back from sydney.... so I don't think i will be up for dub drooling this time round. Oh and I have been given a kombi, as for festy I am lending him to my sister till she gets her ford pornowagen fixed up (70's was such a tastefull period). I confess, i have grown too attached to the barina, I can't let go of the eggmobile just yet   ... I'm having a good week. You'll have to drop by the new place next time ur up at ur parents :bounce

oh and hellbus, noice shed, so much better as aguest house than the industrial bin you had before,, klassy :)

I haven't been on here all weekend. Been busy doing the roof of the garage. Just in time, the rain started pissing down and the bus was lucky to get a park inside under cover.

Just went for a walk to see how far it would be to my new work and back. 30 min there and 30 min back. Finally a job where I don't have to worry about driving to work, parking, petrol, agro drivers etc. Yeah I know it will be very cold some mornings and very hot some days (Pub on the way home) But it will be worth it.

Sweet
I am 11 km from work at the moment and when I get my arse into gear will be riding to work, so less driving for me as well.
You can do some good thinking in 30 mins of walking!!

I should do a memebers ride post sometime soon,,, meet oliver (he's sitting waiting for me down at Galston in Sydney atm, his owner let him sit as he didn't want him canibalised.. half the reason why I have been given him ;) )
