No camera at the moment, but he's under cover again in my folks garage. Body upstairs on supports and bonnets, doors and guards downstairs under the house. Some of the work is excellant, the rest is very good.
Am planning the painting, anyone got an idea of where to search for 1956 beetle colours? Rob?

Okay,
for Rob I have a few questions. Where does your wiring loom run from behind your dash? does it poke out through the (foot well) wall or go up over the top passenger side? 2nd, I may need to take a good close look at Pige when I next see you to figure out what extra little holes I have that I shouldn't - and will therefore get sealed over. There are a lot of small holes under the dash that don't look right.
Aside from that it looks good, just have to decide on a colour, get a hinge for the passenger door, fix the heater tubes (see pic 8, they aren't running down to the base of the A pillar), get the radio area fixed (see pic 7 and 8) and run a pull wire (or three) for the wiring loom.

I think you should be asking Peter Zac he's the maker of moonshine. I gave up brewing a couple of years ago. Might get back into it though

Mmmmmm Bavarian was nice, I polished that off a couple of weeks ago, and the brew before that was a crispy pale ale. The one that just come onto drinking time is the Real ale. It is darker and like a traditional old English pub ale that you can drink unchilled. That is not warm mind you, that is the wrong way to drink beer. You can drink it unchilled though.

The next batch which is going into bottles tomorrow night is a lager that I have made without any brewing sugar. I have used two Home Brand/ No-name kits and no sugar to make a thicker hoppier brew. I will let you know how that one goes. Still just one packet of yeast though.

Two weeks I bottled a batch of ginger beer. So you could say it is all go go go here.

Put it this way. I buy no soft drink any time at all what so ever, and no beer unless I am in a bar.

If only some people added up how much they spend on Coke a year. One guy I work with drinks three cans a day, and I don't know what he drinks out of work. Even at $0.60 a can from the supermarket, it is about $400 a year. I spend less than that on beer and soft drink brewing.

I certainly would never ever buy a Coke, as they do not deserve my money.
