zac the shed IS awesome!!

Mind you we hopefully bring everything home from storeage tomorrow..AND the electricians vehicle has marked it's territory on the slab before the dubs got a chance:grind:

My son Aaron was over today and sent me a txt that one of MY cars must be dripping oil..well they do..BUT they haven't had a chance yet!! AND I was going to slide cardboard under them until I relaxed a bit about stain

I can just see Bel and the Dr sniffing the 'garage' and knowing they are not the first in there...done traddies ute dripping:jesus

I have an RDO tomorrow to get things done..but would you believe it I have to go into work cos I'm going for another job and hey want me in for a 30 minute test:crazy:

We wanted to get the cars outa the storage tomorow because on a weekday these storage places can be crazy with people on a weekend getting at their stuff and blocking the way

Penguin I hope it stays dry up there so you can get the sheets on...even though you do need the rain..and have the tanks ready to catch it

Yipeeee my babies are home!!

Bel and Dr L re home plus all the other stuff from storage...including bikes!!

All I need now are shelves...AND oops the shed isn't long enough to get Eddies Vacationerwagon in...we'll have to get him a Golf hehe..I cut the length of the shed short because of the council giving me grief about the size of the shed...we are about 6 inches short..the dubbs are as far forward as they can go...oh well there is the carport for now and maybe jiggle around a bit..but it's tight

I thought maybe 3 across the front to try and get the Vacationer in...but the Golf is looking a good option!!:thumb

Great feeling when you can finally get your stuff in your own space. I find I am still getting things into their permanent home. Good to hear the territory has been marked.

Getting closer, but work and a few other things have slowed it all up again.
Love the size of your shed. Nice spot for working off to the left and cars on the right! well done :)

Thanks Penguin...I am hoping to get some shelving on the weekend to put in the lean to side of the shed to get things off the ground....and I'm sure we can figure out a way to fit all the cars in with a bit of giggling...it will take a bit of time to figure out the best way to park thm and be able to gt two daily drivers in and out with ease

I think there is space for shelves nearer the cars for things that they need.I have it in my mind but we have to try it out and see what works

I know what it's like when work holds things up..I have no time at home...or even at work to organise things...not sure when we will be normal again ... but at least we have the dubbs home:tu:

jenz we've got the engine. cleaned and degreased it all. put a new clutch and high-pressure (2500lbs) plate in. new thermostat and seals.

it's a 2.2turbo from a 1989mx6.

should be running 15-20psi making 150kw + @ the wheels

also..just for something different...this will be the only turbo wagon of this kind in aus....AND we are going to be running LPG INJECTION!

you like to double post a lot at the moment don't you jen??

the wagon's good;. new engine in and everything is up and running...BAR the fact that dad won't let me drive it to melbourne aqs it keeps popping out of 5th gear and we're waiting for parts. they won't come for 2-3weeks, by which time dad will be in sweden and he won't let me pull the gearbox apart myself!

so yeh...kinda good, kinda bad!

...I can't see a double post anywhere?:D

..I think sometime things might double when I post...nothing seems to happen so I press post again...and then again even sometimes = triple or quadruple postings of the same thing:jesus

I just get impatient...just deleted the , clone and tried so hard not to keep pressing delete incase I took the whole of the thread out:(

Is the gear box the last thing to get fixed on the wagon before you can drive it to Melb? So when is you dad due back next? Pity you couldn't get the parts sooner

well my dad's a freak and he managed to fix it yesterday by machining up a part of his own! so yeh..my gearbox is now fixed. and i drove my new turbo wagon to melbourne.

it's awesome..so much more power and torque...but even more so the fact i have a car that's not going to break down on me and an engine that hasn't done 400000+ kms.

so yeh..i have my car back!!!

I had relo's arrive from Holland on Sunday morning. So I managed to finish all of the renovations at the end of last week.

Then We met my Uncle, Aunty and two cousins at the airport 6.00am Sunday morn. We have been showing them all the sights around, from local lookouts (Skyhigh) at sunset, Healesville Sanctuary, up to Shepparton (My Mum landed there in 60's), Echuca, paddlesteamers, nature walks, animals, etc.

They are off on their own now for a while, and are going to the penguins tonight, friends in Berwick, other relo's in Werribee, then up to Sydney etc. Big holiday for them.

Sounds like a good time Pete...how did young Fidel handle all the outings..

It must be nice to have the reno's finished....we've got the painters going through the house...I think it's worse than moving as we are trying to live in a small part of the house and coming home to plaster dust and ground sheets...hopefull;y we will have th house back early next month!

Well we have more packing up to do...and poor Bel is boxed in again cos we are using he space in th shed to store things out of the way:jesus

Zac I hope you are not turning into one of these car hoons we are reading about :P:smirk:

Fidel is very excited in the bus now. He has just had his baby seat moved to forward facing position now. He loves watching the scenery through all of the windows. Doesn't mind being a couple of metres back from us at the front.

anyway, putting in my air-fule gauge and turbo timer this weekend. also thinking about putting the stock 14's back on to see if the fuel economy changes. (my fuel gauge doesn't work..and from what i can work out i haven't been getting great economy...)
