Hi Jenz
Yeah Hayley has moved out. I was devastated at first but now Im living with it. I think it has had a positive effect on Hayley, she seems to be
coming to grips with some of the things that some one who has to support themselves has to do. I thinks she has finaly realised how much it costs to
look after yourself. Also the joy of having to get your shopping home on the bus on a rainy thursday night. No getting picked up and driven everywhere
by mum! She has told us when she starts her apprenticeship that she wants to move back in. Jodie just told her if she wants to come back that she has
to live with the same rules that she rejected when she moved out, so thats clear right from the start. I spose we will just have to wait and see.
Apart from that I just got a $7.00 an hour pay rise so things are looking good!

^^bugger lol.
i got my af gauge in and the car's running in the optimal region under hard boost. (closer to rich than optimal though), so i'm going to try and
lean it out a bit and hopefully it won't chew through fuel as much with relaxed driving now.

I got my EH Holden on a dyno on the weekend. It is a stock 202ci with big valve head and Terra Charger blower, running on straight LPG. Got 118.8kw at
the rear wheels and 583nm of torque. I was hoping for a little more kw. The AF mix was 98% through the whole rev range, so it was seen as almost
perfect mixture.

Rob..sounds like Hayley is maturing a bit...good that you have stuck to your grounds so she knows what to expect if she came home...it sounds like she
is a strong young woman and I'm sure she's learnt a lot about life the last few months
I'm being slowing killed off at home with toxic paint fumes and plaster dust...fingers crossed we will have the house back to ouselves in a few weeks
time:party
Choke..choke ...I have a landscaper give us a quote....I am so in the wrong profession!!!! Almost a years wage to get the garden to look natural
Aussie bush:duh Well you can only ask

OMG page 345...Rob look what you started!!
Hmmm... did I say poor Bel is boxed into the shed with all our house stuff and the trakka even has stuff stored in him...all I can say is 'at least
I'm not paying for storage anymore!'
Amazing how much 'stuff' you collect over the years and we have been leaving boxes ouside of the op shop alate at night lol
Goodness it's amazing how we collect things/stuff we never use
Had to pack the house up to let the painers have a run....it would have been easier to move...crazy stuff

583nm of torque!!! jeesus...and all that from only 118kw. my 89 mx6 turbo engine is probably only putting out 110kw and 250nm of torque. though once i
turn the boost back up to where it was...i should get a bit more than that.
you mentioned straight lpg? not lpg injection?? as dad and i are in the process of getting the stuff to make my car straight lpg over christmas
time.
there's some very big advantages to it...

Yeah I built the motor solely for torque. It is a long stroke 6, I have a cam with long exhaust duration and no overlap. This restricts high rpm hp,
but coupled with a low rpm torque converter it gives stump pulling, wheel spinning grunt from idle.
The blower is 1.5l at 100% overdriven, which means basically it makes the 202 (3.3l) get the air/fuel of a 360ci engine at all rpm, including from
idle
It is running a Gas Research 480cfm carby with custom fuel jet.
Very different from turbo setup. I get 7psi boost at all rpm.

Yeah $7.00. works out $12.000 a year.
I was working dirt cheap for them just to get my foot in the door! when I asked them for a raise they checked up and found out I was way underpaid.
I could ask for back pay, but I'm just happy to finally be getting what I deserve.
Off to Action day this weekend so looking forward to that. Hope everyone is well

The bathroom is completely finished now.

All original 50's. Right down to the toilet cistern, pan and seat, basin, lights, taps, bath, linoleum (not vinyl) flooring. Pastel paint and chrome
everything.
The shower is modern, but that is just glass sheets.

Where has everyone gone?
We went for a drive to Koo Wee Rup, Bass and Phillip Island on Sunday.
The weather got real bad on the way back (surprising for Phillip Island) and the Beetle was relegated to a 50 MPH speed limit by me, due to wind
factor trying to blow the little sweetie off the road, along with the horizontal rain. The wipers could not keep up. Still it did not stop every car
overtaking us like maniacs.

Ummm lets see. My recent brew is tasting real yummy and nearly finished (in 10 days) and the current bottled brew is a partial mash amber ale which
should be ready in a few days, and I have a kit brew dark ale with malt extract in the fermenter at the moment. Next will be a light ale. I love the
ales.

Remember you save a lot of money brewing your own beer, so brewing more and drinking more saves you more.

Pete the bathroom looks fantastic!!
We're seeing the end of work inside our house...the carpet went in yesterday and I've been cleaning on stop to get rid of all the plaster dust
which got into every nook and cranny!! We slept in a proper bed last night for the first time in months, had been on the floor of a room will work
happened in our bedroom and the last half of the house. I had completely lost the feeling that it was a home but now working on getting a home
happening again. It's been month of tradies arriving at 7.15am everyday, then comin g home to clean a space to live in
Eddie and I have had a week off this week. I mistakenly thought it would all be over and we could actually get away for a few days.....not so!!
Last night we were able to start claiming space back in the house...such a nice feeling....so much stuff stored in the shed but now I'm used to not
having it around and hate the thought of packing so much stuff up EVER again...
The landscapers started this week as well...the back yard is starting to look good again after all the earth moving and shed building that went on. I
should have taken pics but haven't...the camera is packed away somewhere...but it will look all natural and inviting..we won't want to leave home.
Jay and his garden crew are so nice and friendly, and show some repect for your space which I've found a lot of tradies don't
We'll be ordering another skip tomorrow....I just can't believe the amount of rubbish you have to get rid of when you renovate #!@#
Yummmmmm asahi...I first had it in Micronesia before it became trendy over here...luv it..just told Eddie...maybe I get him a brewing kit for
Chrissie??!!!
Zac...are you still at Swinbourne? How's it all going?
We are so out of touch with the VW scene at the moment...have been coming home for months now after work to clean up and too tired to go to
meetings..plus the club have not been meeting in the city which makes it hard when you travel to work by train, then you can't cater for everyone and
most can drive to meetings where ever they are
I bought Dr L home today after his service and one of the young gardeners dropped his shovel and came over to look at his...he was into old cars and
seemed to know a bit about mechanics and stuff....ended up talking to him for ages and showing him Bel...he ws amazed at the engine and how simple she
is..it was nice
Gardeners are my favourite tradies...plumbers and sparkies are OK too...
Hmmm must be getting old now...I have just ben thinking of the work and friendlyness and care for your space side of things
Rob, I'm glad you are getting paid what you should be now...that's a good thing. I was hoping to do a trip up your way with Eddie and drop in to say
hi...but next time. The trakka would have loved the drive up north

...argh that not good signals at all .. very exhausting ....
Why do these things seem happen when you have things like exams on?
My parents used to give me lectures all the time when I was at school eons ago, about staying away from boyz and concentrating on my studies ....AND
I'd get grounded... which was like purgetory
These things are the down side of relationships and can be tough but we get through an move on... get through the exams and look forward to the
holidays

yeh she got pissed off at me because i told her i was stressed and wanted to catch up with her. (and said no)
then at 5pm on sunday arvo she message me and asked if she could come around.
she did...we got dinner again, then we got slurpess. then we drove down and sat by the yarra...then cruised down swan st and thne chapel street. and
then came to my apartment..and then she went home.
fair enough...but it's 40mins from her house to here. it's not like i'm just around the corner...so at least some part of her wanted to see me!
so i'm still confused

Yes it sounds like she must have wanted to see you Zac...maybe she thought she'd better let you have time alone to study so went home?? Does she live
with her folks, and if so what are they like? I used to always be getting instructions when I was home with my folks..eons ago....I swore I'd give my
kids more freedom and did...now they say they will keep a close eye on what their kids do...just because they've seen what some people do....and the
cycle continues
My kids have been great..they say they couldn't do anything really wrong because I gave them the freedom but with trust attached ..... and we talk
honestly so I guess they can't lie to me....HMMM sometimes I'd rather not know lol
Maybe the stress is getting to you and things will be OK once exams are over??

she's just gotten out of a 2year relationship where she was living with the guy (i helped them move to sydney. drove up with their stuff in my car
and stayed with them)
and he's already got a new gf...so that's been messing her around. and she's getting treated like crap at work.
but..we've slept together already. and then she said she wanted to be friends..and then we went out and had a $100 dinner on the st kilda waterfront
followed by a walk along the pier and ice-creams, followed by a drive and sitting in the carpark chatting and relaxing with the music up and windows
down. (last week)
so..to me that's not something you'd do with a friend. i dunno whether she's unsure of her decision to be friends or what...one of my mates thought
she might be testing me.behaving weirdly to see how i react. i don't believe that...
she's either trying to make up her own mind...or i dunno what else?
