Penrith & eastern creek are far enough apart to not share the same weather.....I work in Penrith & live closer to the creek, sometimes it
rains in one area whilst its fine at the other......I' ll be waiting till Saturday morning to see what happens

Much along the lines of what Stanley has said, was desperate to get up to this event, and have been watching Bens weather link all week, bit I'm
dissapointed to say I will not now be going,
Given the weather plenty of chance, with all its toing & froing its always gone back to being a wet weekend forecast.
For the sake of everyone going, the gringos from Vic & all interstate travellers hope the weekend turns out great & be safe.

Eastern creek weather is the same. I've made my decision based on finances. I hope for all the other races i've made the wrong choice. Best of luck

travel to support this event.

What about spectators? I haven't seen or heard anything official! Apparently it's on isn't quite good enough to travel a 2000 + km round trip.

Okay so I just did the 25 km trip home from work on the highway and it's torn to shreds
When the mobile billboards are flashing " STAY AWAY, highway closed numerous places" it's pretty worrying. On that short stretch there are 6 trees
that fell completely across the road and dozens blocking the whole lane on either side, countless limbs big enough to stop you on the spot and a
couple complete with cars buried under them.
Glad no one is traveling now or facing the haul tomorrow evening or Sunday, new England will be the only option for returning north for those that
went early
Hopefully another date is set and if not, I'm happy to donate my entry fee to Craig and WSID if it means the event can be booked again and return
next year.... For sure the price of traveling thru this weather could be very costly indeed.
Ps I kinda hope it does piss down at the creek tomorrow now it's been canned on that basis
