Got back home just after midnight, shit drive home, absolutely pissing down on the M7 windows fogging up due to everthing wet in the van. Then heavy
rain till Yass, and then thick fog from Glenrowen to Melbourne 80kms an hour dangerous as anything. And yes it's sunny in Melbourne.
Chin up Craig, feel for you, Roll on Warwick.

Just wanted to say to Craig, thanks for all your hard work mate. Was gonna bring my 2 boys out to watch and we were all bummed that it was rained out.
And as someone who runs outdoor events regularly, and has been spectacularly rained out, just keep at it mate. We're right behind you and the weather
will come good eventually.

mmmm what a trip for Pizza.... thanks Dino, Pizza's were great.
Home just now after a 2400km road trip and no bloody track time. Oh well, thanks for trying Craig and all those that travelled to the track anyway. We
had a pretty wet but uneventful cruise down and back to WSID. Friday night was our highlight.....Ben, Morgs, Bilby, Tony and I had a few sherbets that
we enjoyed once back from Dino's Pizza Joint. I took a few pics that I'll share once I unload the Kombi

My few pics, hardly worthy but considering we had a non-event, it's the best I got
Day 2 morning at Johns River Crossing, about 23 k's north of Taree.......rain when we parked, rain during the night and rain in the morning. Not a
good sign !

Arrival at WSID. First in line after a 1200 km journey......it had bucketed down only 3 k's from the track, this is the last dry tarmac we saw for
the weekend. 
Before we could get into the pit area a few other arrived

Damn shame about the weather but shit happens. Still, looking at the positives got to meet up with those who braved the conditions (or were hoping for
a miracle like me).
I had my Wife and daughter with me so trip was good family bonding plus she got to spend almost 24hrs with her rellies.
Got to test out the tow car (Mitsy Outlander, FWD, 2.4lt) and it exceeded expectations. Around 11lts/100 kms.
Also tested out my trailer which towed well, however I’m going to add a deflector on the front. Car looked like an offroad buggy by the time a got
home with all the mud kicked up plus a few stone chips.

Hi All,
Mmm - the less said about last weekend the better. Although, I must thank all, especially those with the same eternal optimism who arrived at the
track, for the continuing support. Although at this very moment the thoughts of drag racing are less than attractive, there will be a Sydney 2014, and
the date will be announced in the next month or so.
Now down to business. I have three options I would to offer pre-paid Sydney competitors:
Option1: If you are planning to run at Warwick on October 5-6th, I will credit your entry fee from Sydney towards Warwick and the shortfall can be
made on the day at the track (Warwick is $160 for two days).
Option 2: If you are prepared to wait for Sydney 2014, entry fees and paperwork will be rolled over to the new date.
Option 3: If you would like a refund for Sydney please provide bank details for a full refund. You will, however, obviously have to re-do all
paperwork for the event next year.
Whichever option you choose, please email me asap, and I will make the necessary arrangements. With a deadline for the next issue upon me, please
allow till the end of this month (July) for all refunds and emails to be replied to. I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
