I have a week off, with the majority of the time being dedicated to the Split Panel Project I have sitting in the driveway.

Oh man.. something is going on with pics, but anyway.

I found a hole in the bottom of the right hand side of the bus side panelling, a few inches in front of the rear wheel arch. I noticed it whilst I was getting under the car to jack it up and leave it on stands for the week, as we will be doing some fairly heavy duty stuff..

Anyway, heres the hole. About the size of a couple of matchheads.. But a fair dinkum hole, all the same.

This is about the time that Steve got here, and we thought we might get a start on removing things like the motor.. So the rear bumper was removed, followed by the sensational engine bay seal the vehicle had.. (will be for sale later, but no tyre kickers - $500US :))

The petrol tank was emptied, hence the white bucket, the rear vallance taken off, and a couple of the engine nuts undone before we ran out of time..

Yeah probably Dave.. That a bigtime bummer.. Some a can weld up and stuff, but this is absolutely rooted. Both inner and outer have been ordered last night from Hardings, so no pressure Guy, but I would like em here by Friday!!
The weather is crap here and I am playing golf today too, but I still intend on getting more of the project done when I get home.

looks like a good project to me! still in better nick than most of the un-restored busses in the u.k, mine included.....
a few repairs is going to be a lot easier than replacing the bottom 8 inches all the way round the van!!!
