Hmmm...I have two yoots, 1 a 75 bay, 1 a 64 split, a 55 panel and a 54 oval, like Jim I like the vintage... "the older the better" is motto in life, encourages me every year as I get older, I try and apply that motto to everything in my life, mature means less games....

But when you have old cars I think you need at least 3, 1 thats in the workshop, 1 that you're driving and 1 in case the 1 you're driving brakes down...cant go wrong.

But recently when two were off the road, I considered selling 3 and buying a low k's transporter, but couldnt decide between the 64 singlecab and the oval, so will just keep them all til i decide...

But if you dont work on them yourself then go the new beetle and save for an old one, pre 67, then slowly learn and tinker...

Yeah, I'm with Stealth on this one too.

I personally have very little interest in watercooled VWs, but each to their own!! They ARE still Volkswagens!! Go the Passat!!! :P
