yessss btw this was advertised as a "rust free split" .. yeah besides the rotton floor and the sill... From underneath the floor didn't look to bad, cause the sheet metal was there...

Plenty of bog and newspaper, but no rust. :)

Always fun making those 'little' discoveries.. I think we've all found things like that. My battery tray is currently made of fibreglass and is currently pop-riveted on.. Oh yeah.. real dandy.

It's all just part of the fun.
Looking good mate. I haven't touched my floor yet. 1mm cutting disc?

1mm it is.. they burn up quick .. i have used about 15 already.. also get a cold chisel and good mallet for those spot welds, if the floor is crappy they are too hard to find to drill out. Another good tool is a dremmel. about $100 and will help for the finer finishings.. Good luck with yours mate!

Good to see you're doing things properly! Great stuff.

By the way I love your work boots in the pic where you are chiseling - I get in trouble for wearing thongs! :P

Looking good Tim.
As the old saying goes.
Do it right the first time and then you dont have to worry about it.
It seems like hard work but it will be worth it in the end.

Keep the pics coming

Cheers

Regarding Robs floor sections.
If they are anything like his other stuff they will be brilliant.
