After 57 posts you have made VDubya (all of which I have looked through by doing a search), I am yet to find one constructive comment. I know you have
issues with my moderating, but can you blame me for having to step in and act in the best interest of the forum when people such as yourself continue
time and time again to post comments just to stir the pot/get people offside/insult people etc?
I will delete my comments at some stage to keep this thread on track, but please attempt to make some sort of valuable contribution to this site
rather than just stir $hit all the time.....I'm asking nicely.

I'll just keep bringing up the point of no cars showing up . It wasnt broke before , now it is . If this keeps going there wont be a drag event next
year

For a variety of reasons, I haven't raced at a VW Nationals drag day since the old Oran Park races of the early-mid 90s.
Allow me to disregard the GBT for a moment and ask...
Is there any different classes for differnet engines or year models? Will I get more than one go before my 16-second car is blasted away by a
13-second turbo street terror? Is drag racing any fun...

Is drag racing any fun? yes!
The racing is dial your own. Your 16 sec car can race against that 13 sec car and win easily.
A 21 second bus can beat a 10 sec race car. Although in practice, it is not safe to allow them to race with this difference. (They should both cross
the line at the same time, however, one will be doing 65 mph, the other 130mph.)
Don't forget as well, that the last event wasn't held with the show, or over a long weekend.
That stops a lot of racers from interstate attending. When the show and the drags are on the same weekend, that gives more of a reason for people to
attend.
To tow a car from Adelaide is 17 hours each way.
To tow from Melbourne is close to 11 hours each way.
Racers need to have the time to get there, to relax, to race and to get back in time for work.

So, two years on... if this forum is still alive, how about we get the GBT back. Who has it now?
Has anyone asked Gary Berg whar to do re. turbo/aspo argument?
For me, if it's regestered.... race it.... lets get the Berg Trophy back into contention

Bring back hi po old school air cooled racing
Not trying to take away from Matt if he wants to take it on but what about making it the AVD trophy?
You have a bunch of moderators that can nut out the rules
We can promote different venues and events as approved
It would bring some life back into the forum
