I have to tell you that if you look real close, it's not absolutely brilliant, but from a few steps away it looks effective. I used a generic plastic
self adhesive moulding from my local auto parts store. Looks to be nearly the same width as original trim.
Wanted to make it different to Flash trim that everyone has and if I tried to make it look the same would probably have come out crappy.
Thanks for the kind words guys.

Mate good job! I did the smae by using the stick on chome from Rare Spares and it Looks very original even up close!
Heres a picture to show you how i did it. Have a go at doing the whole side by using og flash trim pictres then pencil it outand stick away!

A quick update on Boris. I managed to pick up Best Rat at the weekends Volksfest. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and to the organisers for
a wonderful event.
Here he is... Boris the Rat/Cal/Racer. No rat prize next year though as paint will be going on in the winter.

Congrats mate.
Its good that you have taken a slightly different approach to most rats. more of an old racer look then the usual over accessorised look.
Top effort.
And good to see schnits the dog is still looking happy and healthy.

What size rims do you have on the back? Did you fabricate yourself?
Great looking car, well done!

I think that the rims are 15 x 7 and I bought them as is from a mate, I just gave em a lick of colour. Rear tyres are 205/70/15 's which aree nice
and chunky.
Thanks for the comments!
