good to see someone doing all the work including the engerning info and not relying on the usual
of i heard or i was told by etc the work is the hard part not the engernearing side if you ask the right people the right questions first than build
to these requirments there will be no probs
good job and con grats on all being well done

top work! top car!
i love the idea of a hotrod bug.
do you have any more pics of the extension for the front? did you make it yourself? how many inches/cm extension does it give you?
i'm hoping to build something quite similar so any info greatly appreciated.
good to know it can all be made legal too! (what state are you in? it's probably different in each state...)
cheers

i was thinking about a 4 or 5 inch extension, looks like i might need a re-think, it looks real good at 8!
any chance of a few more pics of the actual extension? maybe one from before you fitted it to the car...
do the tyres rub against anything at full lock?
what fuel tank are you using now?
cheers

This rod is an awesome bit of work. Had the debate with the rod nut at work about the virtues of beetle rods.
Once I described all the features that have gone in to this volksrod, he was pretty damn impressed.
Love to see it down for summernats next year to blow away some awards.
I hope to be able to something similar but different in the not so distant future.
Excellent work
