Yeah, the masking takes aaages. i just use a cheap masking tape around the windows, and that seals them well enough. then just newspaper over the windows.

And because it's a daily driver, reassembled to drive to work, until i pull it all apart this weekend...again...

a few more things to do, but clear indicators and red taillights are on.

just needs another coat of black on all the bolt-on panels (apart from doors)

and more clear and flake on the red, and the wheels.

and still need to finish that rear guard which is about halfway done.

then lowering ahoy!

Pure laziness! Well, more or less.

I've got another rear guard to go on, but i'e just been unmotivated to finish stripping it...so it's got left behind.

i'm going to try and do it this weekend. thats the plan anyway!

It's Ford Hermitage red base, with 'Fire Red' flake over the top. Just something kinda subtle.

Btw, the streaks are just dust caught in the unbuffed clearcoat. They'll be fixed soon enough. :)

Man that looks awesome!

I'd go with painting the scallop, its not that difficult, plus like Josh said you can always rub it back and start again.

heres one I did.........
