I wouldnt say quick I started planning about 3 years ago and collecting all the bits n pieces making clamps and replacing the gearbox fitting the
fuel lines etc etc
Ive had the car off the road for nearly 10 months Its the only way to do it
big thanks to Leigh sorting out the Microtech wiring and doing the initial start up and programing on the handset

yeah i was surprised how easy it was
thought it may have been a pain in the bum but using a bit of rubber tube pushed on the end of the plug and screwed in by hand then tightened

Once again thanks to Boris, Leigh, Brad ( westie) Ian ( Pirtek ) and the many hours with the air grinder from Qantas

Dave, looks like you have the fuel rails set up in series.... is this better/worse/equal to having them in parallel ? I thought series would mean one
side maybe running slightly lower pressure than the other ??

Hi
The pressure will be equal, it will attract some heat to the fuel once it gets to the other side, but for the cars intended use they work fine, EFI
bays, Type 3s and T3s and even Subaru's use the same set-up.

Craig
no problems with any sort of fuel starvation at all
i did make the rail 19mm ID so theres a bit of fuel reserve there i used the stainless flex tubing on the cross over line so theres some heat
protection there and with the raiis and injectors up n away from the mainifolds theres no direct heat only the radiated heat from the engine
Ideally i suspose you should split the line to both sides of the engine and then return to the center and tank so as to make the fuel path all
equal distances from the pump etc etc but the regulator maintains the system at approx 45lb and equals all that out it would be diferent in a
bigger horse powered engine i would imigine
just did a fuel MPG the other week
its running on Unleaded no pinging and getting 25.7 Mpg or 9.1 liter / 100 not bad i think no surge tanks or other complicated multipal throttle
bodies and the like
use the KISS method keep it simple stupid

Looks great great Dave, the KISS method is usually the best mate!!!
Was wondering were you tapped ur head for the head temp sensor for the microtech ECU. I notice u've got the MT8.
I have a 10 - the one with the ignition control, and need to mount my bosch head temp sensor into a set of CB performance 044 heads. Just curious as
to how you did it so i don't need to re-invent things!!!
