15 cars turned up for first round of racing ,19 entered event I think that has be the biggest ever ! Great work to all entry's .
I'm burnt out and sick again after a huge week-end so I'm a little slow with updates .
Dave ! Good one buddy ! for the win .Sydney boys thanks for flying up and helping us qld racers over weekend (Smith Bro's )
Rod did well driving black car but broke out first round by .015 ,very good race .His best et was 12.19et at 108.02mph.
He had to grudge runs on sunday afternoon with no wheelie bars , 1st run 6000rpm start but car bog (track was so sticky) then next run he tryed
7000rpm no bog but carried wheels nice for a power wheelie .
My car , well it was good to be there driving my own car . Good to get a 11.76 et at 114mph but that was it ,clutch just would not lock up .
Things to fix ,clutch ,front to stiff,brakes ( peddle rock hard),motor maintance , befor Warwick
Weight of car 1255 LBs without me ( 559 kilo) and 1445LBs with driver (655 kilo) SWEET !! BRAD ???????????????????.

no matt.that's for all motor in general.
is that shot of macca with a wide angle,fat bastard.
good to hear the smith clan was there,they make for some good laughs.
there's nothing quite like the high pitch'd squell of a fat man in the morning.
does anyone know if morgan pissed the bed again or did they lay of the can's this time.

Don't think anyone ran Pb's on the weekend. Pete's 11.70 something run is the quickest he has run in the car since it has been rebuilt. Rod in the
black bug run a 12.19 but not sure if that is the fastest time he has run in that car.

Definitely a great showing from all VW racers!
Damn spectactular to see dave run back to back 11.30s or 11.29 dials... then take the final and the loot!! Congrats Dave
Have slapped a vid together to get the ball rolling, hopefully someone will be able to fill in the bit I miss or taped over . Disappointingly I taped over (after viewing and not fastforwarding back to
the end of the tape) Rod's first run without wheelie bars. It was a cool clip as it was pointing into the sun creating silhouette of the a massive
wheelie - looked pure Berg! Sorry Rod, looks like you will just have to do it again!!
Also missed all of Neal's runs and Dave's final (as all good cameras do, my battery ran out 2 seconds into the burnout)

Satin black is the new magenta for my car ,front paint soon . I think Macca might have some footage but 11.76 is a start . Pulled motor today found
