Man, seriously fantastic work!

I used to be into the fibreglass as a teeneager, but that wore off and got hooked on cal-look for the last 12 years or so. But this, this is SOMETHING ELSE. Its just out there.

I dont think you can classify this car... its just beyond anything ive ever seen.

Congratulations man! Top job!

absolutly what i was thinking, im a big fan of doing it tough and doing all you can on your own, even if u havent done it before, jumping in the deep end and having a go. Anyone can throw some money at a car and get someone else to build it, clearly you do have the skill and i respect u for creating something yourself :tu:

Not my cup of tea but mate full marks for the creativity and as others have said doing the majority of it yourself. Nothing more satisfying than winning a few trophies for a car that you yourself have built!!

The rims are the exact ones that i want on my bug.

Its a 71 standard, but im planing on getting the brakes redrilled at the required PCD.
Are the rims multifit, whats the offset and did you have to modify anything to get them to fit?

Hope im nt bthering you.

Vault Rims

Hi Josh,
Always happy to help where I can, I did modify quite a few things for these rims to fit like:
narrowed front beam, 2" widening of the rear guards, custom discs on the rear and new discs on the front with a ford stud pattern 5 x 114.3mm. These rims do offer a very wide range of offsets which is one reason I chose them. From memory the front are a 15 offset with the rear around 45. I would strongly suggest finding a good store and talking to them about it.
I ended up dealing with Tempe tyres but went through a lot of crap beforehand dealing with people who don't know but are happy to take your money.
I love the look they've given myu car and i've had no trouble with them at all.
Wish you all the best.

gilmer drive

Polak,
You sound like we're on the same page, lol.
I actually machined the pulleys myself. I am fortunate enough to work with CNC machines all day. Sorry I know this doesn't help you any but if I can help in any way let me know.
