Bens supercharged drag bug engine start-up
Ben and myself fire-up his new 2442 supercharged engine at around midnight , only days before the Warwick 2010 drags .
Cindy has a little trouble holding the camera still when the engine is fired-up.....she is trying to hold the camera and cover her ears at the same
time.....

Dear Wayne...who would have thought that somebody would have captured Canberra drags footage !! October,1988 was washed out & it was
actually3/1989 that it was rescheduled.The run with the 350 Chev. beetle was out of 3..the vw took the lot on a rebuilt transmission & engine that
was not fired etc until it arrived ar Canberra.The diff was destroyed doing wheelstands after the racing..you were close though.Ross

thanks for the correction Ross . I am always pleased to be given the correct information and have changed the dates . My own beetle was in pieces that
weekend so I ventured to Canberra with the video camera and recorded the entire event .
Great to see the old-dog back on the track again . All the best , Wayne .
