| Hi Chop Top VW,
Good site, clear layout and easy to navigate. Does it contain “ALL” the parts you can supply?
I am in Bundaberg and the closest VW shop is 4hrs south in Brisbane, so online shopping is important to me and others who can’t just nip around to
the V-Dub shop to see what they have.
I like to go to a site and “window shop” first, getting inspiration, themes and ideas from products on offer. Sometimes you don’t know what you
want until you see it or see something you need or could do with. This is why it’s important to display all products available and to have clear and
informative descriptions negating the need to make a phone call.
For example I’m looking at the rear disc brake kit and these questions would need to be clarified before I would order.
What’s the brand and quality?
Can you get them in a ford stud pattern?
Are they available blank to suit any stud pattern?
What pads come with them?
Are they std replacement or special order size/shape?
Can you order the kit with upgraded discs and pads?
Do they alter the existing track? If so, by what?
Bundle shipping = excellent, prices good, all in all a good site only should get better and as others have said, we would like to support online local
before online USA.
Can your “Custom” items include Beam/steering extensions or other locally made items that people in the scene, but are remote, can have access to?
Maybe “Special interest” items that places like Auto Werks have custom fabricated and can supply when required.

looked at the sight it looked awesome unfortunately I am a type 3 owner so parts are still hard to come by. was wondering if you were thinking about
starting to stock things like type 3 carpets and interior bits even if its on special order with a lead time it would be great to be able to see a
concrete price. Also a touch more detail ie the mechanical bits and what models they fit cause if one of your rear disc kits would fit my 1970 type 3
i would be very interested and i am sure i am not the only one. all that said its an awesome site and i wish i owned a beetle so i could buy all those
bits for my car. good luck and may vollks be a great success and hopefully stock some very cool type 3 bits in the future, but most of all good luck
its great to see more suppliers in aus

Hey guys and gals,
Went onto Vollks.com.au today to order some wheel nuts. Was a bit surprised at the freight charge - but thought that that was the price I needed to
pay and I couldn't find these anywhere else anyway (easily at least - I am very, very, very lazy!)
Anyway, not 5 minutes after completing my order I got a phone call from Chop Top VW. He appologised for the advertised freight cost for the nuts, as
the advertised freight price wasn't really the correct price - it was way cheaper. He promised to refund me the difference and fix the site as soon
as practicable. He came across as a very genuine and thoroughly nice guy. This alone will keep me coming back to the site.
Then not another 5 minutes past and I got an email from Paypal saying that I had received a refund from Volks.com.au. Not only is Chop Top VW a nice
guy, but he's efficient too!
I wish him success with the business, and all the best in his endeavours. Now all he needs do is stock a set of Popout windows for a Aussie built
'67 Type 1 - oh yeah, they need to be cheap too of course!

Hey Polak,
Ok, I'm sure I'll be shot down for this, (but please note that I'm a "Casual Dubber" and haven't been on the forum for too long and don't know
who is who yet), but . . . what is your business? What do you do? I assume it's VW related?
Right, I'm sitting comfortably, now attack!

Site looks great and good luck with the new business. After navigating a little, can I suggest you have a button to move on the the next page (when
there are multiple pages of parts to view) at both the top and bottom of the page? It would make it a little easier.
Also, it might pay to amend your banner on this site as you are now working and not "coming soon".

Ordered a steering box last thursday for $99. Turned up yesterday. So great service and great price.
Only thing that worries me is, the box in the picture said "TRW" on it, while the one I got is clearly not a TRW box. Now the description didn't
say "TRW steering box", but even still, thats the sort of thing you have to watch I guess. I should have asked the question.

Well that kinda sucks. If the photo is not the EXACT item you are receiving, you have every right to be a bit miffed. While I support the idea of an
online site which sells at a big discount, I am personally concerned that not a lot of brand names are being mentioned on the site, and it looks like
perhaps some of the items just have a random image (wide five sprints, most of the different diameter Fuchs)
I know it's early days, but if I buy online I want all these questions answered. Isn't that why the business was started?
Where are the BRM's from? Flat Four? MWS? China? What about the dropped spindles? CB performance makes a damn good dropped spindle (forged) for
similar cash, I would always go for a brand with some history over a no-name brand. It's hard to compare apples with apples if they are in fact
oranges.
Now if there is a picture of a TRW steering box, and I order that said steering box, unless there is a disclaimer stating that images may not
neccesarily represent actual products bought, then I would be dissapointed, and very unlikely to buy from that supplier again.
Good luck with your venture, please take this as constructive criticism but don't flood the VW market with more crappy Chinese/Brazillian/Taiwanese
knock off junk because most of us have had it with that cheap shit. And it's already over catered for here. Your CSP and Gene Berg shifters are a
great start! There is plenty of other quality stuff which is overlooked by all the other retailers here, order that stuff & we'll buy it.
