Just a suggestion. Most of the logistics could be solved with stickers at the entrance gate. Say numbered Gold sticker ($30) for cars that want to
judged and sent to a separate area. Silver numbered stickers ($20) for cars that want to park and show. The silvers would be eligible for a peoples
choice award and a kids favorite award. Then $10 for walk in punters with a peoples choice or kids choice award vote form. Maybe a free kids (cheep)
show bag or icy pole to encourage future Dub owners. (paid for by the exorbitant swap meet fees....sorry couldn't resist) My2c

As someone who has been to all three National venues,I think this venue is good, but people who want their car under cover need, to be at the venue no
later than 9.
Entry should be from six oclock. The sticker(judge me,judge me not) is a great idea.
A section in the carpark should be put aside for assembly of catergories so that cars in classes can drive thru together.
I also would like to see independant car show judges judge all the cars rather than drive thru judging.
Also the Aircooled/watercooled issues that some people go on with needs to be resolved. Its not two different shows.Thanks.

We carnt have cars under the coverd area that dont want to be judged we just carnt fit the cars that do want to be judged into the venue so thas
out of the question
as for the car park join the club and volenteer we need about 10 people to do that side of teh show in the car park
" the white and brown striped beetle win a trophy?" didnt enter this year the owner was one of the judges this year
""would like to see independant car show judges judge all the cars "" let me know if you can find some that know Volkswagens
"" the year muller drove the rusty kombi around "" glad no one got injured if something had of happened it would have voided out insurance we
classify the show as STATIC which makes a big difference
"" the Nats when it was at the soccer fields. It was good there but arguably even better at Hawksbury Ag College "' you are old Matt LOL yes we
moved away from those venues so we didnt have to pay for the accomodation set up which was getting expensive even if we didnt use it

Be Ready !!!!!
I think the National is getting bigger and bigger and the club have to be ready for the future.
The only way to support is with positive ideas and ''realistic one''.
Join the club ,put the ideas and the club have to ''listen'' the'' new'' for the future.I'm happy but I think.
With the support of everyone, ''the national '' is the first motor show.

What if you had the"Gawkers" park on the infield of the Trotter trck? that would free up more space undercover.

I have ask that question before and from memory there are 3 seperate identies there under the council and of course they dont talk to each other
I am pretty sure the responce was NO as you may have seen trotters doing training on the track during the day so they want access to there
track unrestricted
but i will ask again

Maybe enter the non judged through the top gate & the others down through the bottom or vice-versa,
top gate for judged would enable spectators to see the process as they come through,
as for the infield parking,
i know the caretaker who lives on site, he is also one of the trotter trainers,
i will ask him if this is possible when i see / speak to him next,
what happened to the photos of the entrants / winners at the presentation this year ?
was a good way to see who the recipients were last year,
P.A needs to lower in volume during the day, but go up at the presentation,
or get the announcer to hold the mike up closer to his mouth please
Nath
Step up to get out !!!
