thanks Rod , but I dont think it was the second hand cinter-iron disc that you sold me that made it hook up so viciously on my first past . It was the
stage-4 pressure plate with ductlie shoe that I spent an hour on refacing friday afternoon .
After the first pass the clutch lost its edge and was a lot better off the line for the remainder of my passes , later ruuning a 10.29@135mph on low
boost .

had a great day at WSID after a very stressful week .... I didn't get time to dyno the oval after doing head repairs , so I decided to play safe and
enjoy the day .
I ran the same tune as I had used 3 weeks before at the VWMA VW Showdown , but I removed the 21psi wastegate spring and fitted a 14psi wastegate
spring to lower the boost .
The first launch caught me by surprise with the oval lifting the front wheels quite high .... I got off the throttle to get the front back down and as
it came down got back onto it ..... to my surprise I was once again unable to see the track as the wheels had lifted again ..... all this happened in
1st gear which goes to show how well my 1st gear works as a 3.3 ratio with a 3.44 ring & pinion .
I still managed a first pass of 10.66@135mph , later running a 10.29@135mph
