Thank you., which gauges were you referring to? the autometers? they came from rocket industries

The engine is what was in the car when i got it , just checked over so its still a 1600tp, i may build a engine with more oomph later on.. my choice will probably be Rod Penrose

no need to convince the wife anymore, shes happy with my hobby:kiss: her first words after her first drive in the car were "This is soo cool" Got her hook line and sinker :lol:


on the gas strut, i just got one from a local toolbox shop, it is branded Arrowhead Getdowns and it measures 510mm open and 250mm closed hope this helps.

Great job you've done there Rick... Threads like this helps keep me going with my T34 project.... But I have one concern with what have seen on your car.... The stock lug bolts are not usually long enough when used with alloy wheels... Have you checked to be certain you are getting sufficient thread into the hubs?

yeah i have been a little worried about them and i check them for tightness everytime i take the car out.. i am ordering some longer bolts in black to suit the wheels. thanks humpty.
