well we went over to the race track . checked out how loud the drifting was . most cars where turbo , so not that loud .
they where checking on the end of the first corner . i think 99% of vee dubs will be fine . maybe the vees .

Ran hillclimb at Raleigh Raceway yesterday, went 92dba with a base 1916 4 into 1 exhaust with 2 straight through mufflers. I would not consider my car
loud and it only just scraped in, be aware there will be noise testing and it will be strict. Only one car was not allowed to run and a couple others
had to do a bit to pass the test. The track was awesome fun and a bit wider in crucial areas with the addition of some concrete paving, 3 more sleeps.

Team WPVW has 2 drivers this year competing in the WPVW sports sedan . Dean Penrose and Ben Ford .
Dean and Ben have driven really well today and put themselves into 1st & 2nd place respectivly in the over 2-litre sports sedan class .
Dean has set a time of 1min 53.78secs for the 2 lap sprint and Ben Ford 1min 54.45secs . Quickest tintop today was Guy Harding in his turbo Golf-R
all wheel drive 1min 52.6secs .

Top two days of Racing....Kids car went well!! Car was reliable for both days..
The car performed strong on (road goin tires )well done to my kid kept hes head on and always kept gettin hes times down...
Last lap of the day was on hes best PB but over cooked a corner.FIRST mistake all day...Prep is the key
Like to thank all who gave my bloke the thumbs up and advice thanks boys
To Luke and Crew well done...ran real smooth the whole event!!

Had a great 2 days on the track improved my times with each run to a personal best on my last run a 203.21 . Pretty happy considering i didn't have a
chance to test vehicle after the suspension and brake upgrades which i finished off tuesdays nite.
Thanks to all involved for a top 2 days.

more incar footage from WPVW , with Wayne Penrose at the wheel of the WPVW sports sedan showing the young fellas just how it is done . lol .
This is shown by the lap times of a blistering run of 1m 45.57sec which put the WPVW sports sedan at the top of the time sheets , even in front of all
the open-wheelers with just 1 round of racing to go .
Amy in her injected type-1 open-wheeler came out on her next run and dusted my time with a 1m 45.38sec to take the title of outright quickest for the
weekend by 0.19sec .
Ben Ford ended up 5th outright and 2nd quickest tintop sedan with 1m 51.16sec
Stan Pobjoy in his supercharged 1916 methanol injected open-wheeler did have another attempt but wasn't up to the task , leaving Stan with 3rd
quickest outright .

I took some photos on the track over the two days. My aim was to give the racers something to frame on their wall. I tried to capture peoples faces
and a full shot of the car while racing. Pics can be found here
