Can only assume that the initial coil bind distance was not "fine".
So opened it up to about .080" to .090".
Fresh springs and retainers.
Still got about 1000lbs over the nose.

Was a good day today apart from rain late this arvo which killed the racing quickly!!
Rod Penrose and his new car made it down the track for a few passes before a broken throttle shaft ended his racing so I am told.
Mike Waldron had a wild ride when a lower suspension arm broke at half track and he managed to keep it off the wall!!
Westi and the junka hopefully will get a pass tomorrow after working on the car all day long chasing electrical and fuel system issues.

Andrew "Stanley" Swanson's 1915 went 8.4@83mph I think.
I do not know about any of the other "1916" engines.
I went 6.90@99.76mph.
Davo Richardson won the quick bracket.7.1's was awesome for 9 psi!!
Ben won his class too i think.
I think Matt won the Baja class.
Low ET was a 6.28@113mph(?) by Mike Waldron in Dave Stokers Blower Bug.

What a bloody funny weekend!!! Cheers to everyone for such a great time... Craig and family fir hosting such a great event.... Ben Robinson and family
for the pickup, accommodation and great company all weekend. Awesome to catch up with Morgan and Alesia again, Rodney and family, Col, Matt, Dave R,
Mick H, and all the old guys from back in the day... Great to catch up with you all... But I have to send out a massive thank you to Wayne Penrose and
all his family and crew for setting my up with the Sports Sedan for the weekend... 8.2's in almost every run and what a blast it was, but let's not
talk about the cherrys.... And finally.... Cheers to Troy for the lift back to Brizzy and the airport this arvo.
Ps. I'll post heaps of pics when I get back to Perth.
