Barls, you can stop them. By legislation, if you request that they take you off their mailing list / phone list they have to oblige. Otherwise, if
they continue to harass then you can make a formal complaint to the Australian Direct Marketing Association.
Or, (I wish some people would take this advice) just throw it in the bin or hang up on them!!! Some people make such a big deal about getting direct
mail sent to them. It's easy.... throw it in the bin. I can understand telemarketing P'ing people off... especially when they ring at diner time or
late at night or don't take NO for an answer. |

With regard to being sent rubbish (adds), I call them up and tell them I don't want it. They usually have such a number. And I mention that we have
a "No Junk Mail" sticker, and if I get another thing from them I'M GOING TO COME DOWN THERE MYSELF AND .... oh, um never mind that.
Hehehe, we're struggling with FLuid Mechanics.

The "No Junk Mail" sticker only applies to pamphlets and such... If the letter is actually addressed to YOU then it's called direct mail and the
mail man isnt' going to know that its crap.
As I said.. the best thing to do is send your details to the reply paid address. If you ask them to remove you they have to. |

Yeah a little ahead - fewer views though.
I don't mind cooking, but am pretty crap at it. I have a few standard meals that I can make, and expeditions into unknown territory usually end in
disaster - especially if I try to improvise!:puke
I make bread too: usually it's edible, and sometimes it's quite nice.
EDIT: oops, I don't mean to imply that I've ever made myself or anyone else sick from food, just that it's usually not tasty except for my three or
four standard meals. The puke icon thing just means it tastes bad...

I'm going out and doing uni work when I wake up. Not that exciting.
Last week was hard rubbish collection - I got a few spare bikes. One was a racer, so I took it's rear wheel and put it on my mountain bike. Yeah
the brakes don't fit, and the mudguard had to come off (interference, since racer wheel is larger diameter). But I can go FASTER now. The gear
ratios were too slow before. Yeehaa! Hoon time. I think I might go for a ride if the weather's nice(-ish).
