well that must mean i doing my bit.
blocks almost ready to go.and the heads are on there way to heaven.lol.just kiddin i will drag those things back from hell for a few more passes.to much porting time has been spent on those,they have some life left in them yet.
i will proberly finish off the block next week so i will post up some pic's of the story so far.
i can't wait to rev this thing.

i haven't been online to much of late.just been to busy and not motivated.
when you have so much to do it sometimes seams alittle daunting.
yes dave, they are for the junka.i like throwing in little bit's and peices ,keeps you on your toe's.

after a long break it is proberly time to get motivated again.
i have so much to do it is quiet hard to work out were to start.i have so many unfinished things that all need lots of time and patients.
the heads are finally done,
new valve's,springs retainers and spring keepers.
there is such a big difference from were they were to were they are at now.
the heads were as we thought in good hands before ,but after some last minute checking before we went to warwick,we realize that the trust had been misplaced.we were dissapionted as it was as still is a good friend that had volunteered to do the job.and it wasn't for free.
heads are pretty much the same as before ,except all the valves are seated and the same hight's and valves are equal lenghts and the seating pressures have been lifted to 3 digits rather than 2.
any how enough of the boring stuff.i will post up some pic's,as we will be doing alot over the next few week's with mick's and hopefully mine.i will have heaps of pic,s and as per usuall if you have any questions or imput feel free.

Roller will test even the best springs.
Then the head casting.

I always put priority on jobs that
stop the car from driving,(if not done).

Appearance jobs come last (or never... in my case).

No point having a spiffy car that does not drive.

What size are those t'bodies?

totally agree about the springs and head casting,but with seating pressure being as bad as it was ,50 lowest to 68 ft the highest ,
i thought these heads deserved one more run with big lift .
i don't want to admit defeat,i want to run a desent time and run the mph that i think it is capable off,then drive it back on the trailer after the meeting is over.

the time will come.sooner or later.

trumpets are 115mm down to the throttle size 62mm,yes yes yes ,they might be to big,but who really knows until you try.the manifolds will tapper, from the top of the stack. 115mm down to the port 44mm all over about 15 inches.

i even think that i have gone to far this time,but lets wait and see.

e85 or methonal is the next question,the comp has come up alittle and i am not to confident of the pump gas anymore.

and yes matt, that is only a small maca's cup and an incredibly big mouse pad.

the old seat up with valves was causing valve float.
so i found something of interest for those that don't know howbad it is,
