Different...and you can just see the holes faintly.....I have a 't' shaped bracket for the back...gotta find a pic of one with plate mounted....

You could do the same. Looks like the same holes and the same problem. Just get them to make you a plate like Pige's and you don't really notice it
too much if it's the same colour as the rest of the car! otherwise you have to weld the holes and repaint the decklid!

Only had her 3 years....October 2001 roughly...from a young guy.
He bought Bel from the son of the original owner...the father had died and the son drove her for a while?....All a little unknown...and no original
papers...
Jon and I weren't fully into VW's when we bought her...she was for sale by the side of the road near home...I'd always wanted a beetle..and we'd
just come back from a trip to Tassie were we hired an old beetle from Rent-a-Bug....I drove and loved it so much....Bel was there waiting when we got
back!!! :thumb
Jon and I had 4-5 months of dubbing together before he died and now she's my solo project....

She certainly is a life changer!! My friends are still very puzzled by my change ... to a petrol head.... 
She is cool....Jon and I joined the VW Club of Victoria together in 2001 at the DOVW in Croydon.....we entered Bel and lined her up so we could see
what she needed doing and how she had been changed....
I still do this now...it's the only way to do it. If you park your ride outside....it's not as good.....side by side with others their own model and
you can pick things so much better...and you don't forget when you get back to the car.....
Well that's how I work it...

Thats probably the one thing we havn't got in Brissie is the big market scene although it is starting to pick up
We have the Riverside markets in the city on the river but nothing ever changes and I think people up there prices because of the trendy
environment.
must admit there is some nice stuff though.
