Dropped the chassis at Quickstrip in Milperra today to get blasted, so paint soon and then bolt it all back together

When I came home from Boris' picnic day I put a 2nd coat on the bottom of the pan, going to flip it tomorrow and put a 2nd coat on the top, I can then start reassembling the pan. For a few years I've been using this Black Zinc paint on bumper brackets etc with good results so I decided to paint the whole pan with it

body on pan tomorow.

I bought some heavy duty tie rods from Lanner at Veedub engineering, they are much stronger than the tie rod ends

Lots happening been too busy to update

I've had the turbo lifted up higher in the engine bay, Brad & Beau at Westside did some incredible work again for me.

made an extension V band up pipe, made a V band dump, fitted a Varex muffler and a Turbosmart wastegate. they also altered the position of sensors in my inter cooler and inter cooler feed pipe, made a 3 inch pipe to go into my air filter, rerouted the coolant pipes where the old turbo inlet was under the manifold and welded some tabs to my ice box so I can relocate it on the other side of the fire wall

Hi

Still really busy and Powercruise is coming up in a few weeks. When I put the rear suspension back together I kept the spring plates at the same angle as before, car has lifted an inch so I think my chassis diet has worked.

Car is at the tuner now having a tickle.

I've done a mudguard air intake that I think turned out quiet good, the mudguard is painted now but I don't have a picture of it.

Top view of the motor

Thanks guys. Thats at 7000, I was hoping for more but I took it up with engine covers off so the tuner was worried about getting hit in the head with a car part if he pushed it any further, still more left in the turbo if I need any more but with improved midrange and the weight reduction its should keep me happy for a while.

I think I broke a piston at Powercruise, so forged stroker motor now, so more boost more power and more revs

Hi Steve

Thanks Mark, I had to go that way because of the Porsche gearbox, a Subaru box would have been a simpler conversion but big power needs a big gearbox

OK motor is stripped, burnt piston and a twisted conrod, so stroker crank forged rods and pistons and doweled water jackets. should be good to bring on the turbo sooner and it will be able to revved higher, same motor combo is good for 400 kW at the wheels in AWD drive cars
