Someone has to keep the wheels of WA Dubbing conversation and communication rolling along.... Its tough being the Voice of WA Dubbing! 
Doing rust repairs and fitting the engine cover (one of yours Brad) on the car at the moment.... Cut the extra B pillars out of one of the wrecks on
the weekend too.

Oh you guys are funny.... Here's a pic for ya Brad.....
Nothing on the drag car today.... But I did some work on the POS tonight.... Fitted my new smoothies and some adjustable springplates..... Wheel
alignment tomorrow morning.... Then a little more work on the customer car.
Fitted these over the last couple of days...
Then put some paint on them tonight too.
Sunday is looking good for the Vochito.

I know weber windows can be purchased for a bug. I can't remember the vendor off hand...maybe CiP1?
They don't appear to be very hard to make.

These are on the customer car Chis.... I got these from GabFab on theSamba.... A little exy landed.... 160Aus, but they are very good quality.... I
did modify them a bit... I fitted them to the body with nuts and counter sunk screws.... And I have made my own in the past, but what the owner wants,
the owner gets.
Doing this build has paid for much of the work I have done on the drag car, and my parts for my 27 T Tudor Hotrod, so its a win-win for me.... The
final oil cooler parts arrived today for this car, so hopefully I'll have time to get the engine complete this weekend and get it fired up.

Brakes have arrived!
Lug nut suggestions?.... I have some 60 degree taper washers which you have to use with race weight Ercos... ANDRA require open lug nuts I think....
Any ideas?

Are they 14mm?

Are they 12mm? If so, Coventry's, ask for genuine Toyota Landcruiser nuts coz they're bloody thick and strong, or otherwise Coventry's/Holden/Auto
whatever for genuine GMH to suit Commodore.

14mm Dave.... Thanks for the link... Have looked at some of those before elsewhere... The 12mm ones I ran before would be perfect with the seat, but
obviously the thread is all wrong... Bugger really.... I have some Porsche lugnuts that would be good, but ali ones kinda weird me out.... looks like
yet another parts order is on the cards.

Pulling together all my engine bits in readiness to send off to Dave, and I have made a few more decisions... Not going with dry sump oiling, have
sorted out some VW650 valve springs and got some SCAT 1.4 Race Rockers... Finally feel like I'm getting closer.... The next question is case
porting.... Having a look over this autolinea case, it seems to me there are quite a few sharp edges in there and the surfaces are pretty rough too...
What do you lot reckon? Get in there and debur the crap out of it?

Cheers fellas..... Started on it today.
It looks a little sharp in there....
Not to mention a heap of rough cast surfaces and flashing everywhere...
So after an hours work I have one rod area nearly done....
Hopefully have one case half complete tomorrow before I go to work.

Finally found time to get the case porting finished up.... Pretty happy with how it came out.... There was heaps of flashing and rough surfaces in
there, along with loads of sharp edges.... All blended in now.... Not uber smooth like Matt has done on Bluey's case, but I think I can live with
that.....
This case has some of the galleries drilled and plugged but not all.... Thinking I might have a go at doing that.... Will pull the 8mm case savers out
too in readiness for the 10mm deals... Have fitted longer studs in for the sump too.... Any other suggestions on thing I can do to improve this
case?
Next order of business is the breathing and oiling improvements.... Looking at the oil pickup is looks to be a larger late model one, but the ID at
the bend looks compressed.... I think I have a NOS German pickup here somewhere.... Would it be worth my while to change it out?... Also looking at
possibly fitting Jaycee oil pump cover (Powerflow Oil System) with the by-pass that goes back to the Type 3 oil filler plate, and possibly purchasing
the Jaycee drag pulley and alt kit.... Shame about the exchange rate right now.... Wrong time to be buy shite from the US!
