upset some bloke in his fully hectic 6 cylinder Turbo diesel Patrol with blow off valve, dump pipe out the side. didn't want me to get in front of
him as I had to take the next street to the right so I had to run 2nd gear to redline and pulled 3 odd car lengths on him. So he decided to give me
his HID's on full power lol
Guess he got upset hahahahahaha
Apart from that clutch is starting to slip a lil, and gearbox is getting noisier. Might be new engine and box time.......

Added a camlock strap to the fire extinguisher mount after a scruit pinged me on it last weekend.
Amazing... have run exact same setup for last 3 seasons and never had a question, then 1 new scruitineer and about 15 of us have to mess around with
extinguisher mounts...

Gday all. took the kombi axle down to have it machined down in length to create a drive shaft between hiace gear box & nissan 720 transfer case
for my 4x4 bay I am building. Had a look at the modified front spindle's engineering company said 1 should be ready to test fit next week. picked up
a new davis craig electric water pump buy using that & remote oil filter give's me & extra 10 cm needed to fit the transfer case in.

Replaced the PLASTIC disptick tube on the gf's New Beetle that had age hardened and cracked into about 7 pices... love how modern engineering those
kind of dopey design decisions seem acceptable !!!
Next job will be replacing the inner tie rod ends...

Built up a torque converter, differential and auto gearbox for my wife's type 3 and installed it to day.
Also installed oil temp and pressure transducers for logging. While I was at it installed a 5 wire wide band O2 sensor.
The wagon hasn't been on thd dyno in 4 years (306hp 12psi), still running like a dream but a bit fat, 10.1a/f's. Might put it on the rollers and see
if it makes more by trimming some fuel.
