I will say, its one good looking 1303S Super Beetle...
Two things though...
please replace the heater hoses...
I see they are taped up... also make sure the aluminium hoses are clamped at the ends...
if either of those leak... Your engine won;t last long....
and please paint Your gearlever..... lol...
its usually the first thing I do with any VW....
along with the handbrake....
cheers

Yes I did this some time ago! I also made custom flanges in the tinware so it can't get loose or leak at all. I may post some pics if you're
interested.
As far as other stuff goes not much has happened. Too much rust to bother about improvements at the moment.

Well it's been a while. Here is the latest shots of my car. Just put on hoodjax that Laura (PBB) got me for my birthday. Also had accident damage
fixed as some guy drove into it.

Thanks for the comments guys. The colour is based off the Holden Tiger Mica but it has a different base coat and I think some yellow pearl mixed in.
It was apparently very hard to match.

Just thought I should update this thread.
Eden is doing great, but his little LBug isn't doing too well and is at mechanic's and then panel/paint shop as we speak.
Just up the road from our house when it was raining and had greasy roads, Eden lost the back end in the wet, flicking it out. He overcorrected and
flicked the back the other way into a 4WD's front bumper bar. Thus the rear right wheel guard is almost inverted, the right rear wheel has some
wicked camber that it shouldn't... and I can't remember what CV bit was stuffed up as well but it was. The 4WD owner was pretty pissed as he's had
his car for a week. :P
So poor little Evil-but-still-too-cute LBug is on the road to recovery. Lucky for Shannon's comprehensive insurance... although it wasn't far from
being written off.
Anyone have a Beetle C-Stripe kit they'd like to part with?

Hey there. Thought I'd chime in here. Just heard from the panel shop car is now all good. Thanks to Empikg it has a replacment C-stripe kit, they
sure are getting hard to come by. Hopefully the wheel is ok, it had some scuffing on the rubber but no dings out of the rim so fingers crossed it's
not buckled.
Unfortunately no pics of the crushed bits.
