Sorry for the delay with an answer.
Definitely be at Warwick............ and need to be there to tow "Rocket" Rod Penrose (a.k.a. Captain Snooze) out of bed. The 'Dog with all that
extra power and a heavy duty snatch strap will definitely be required, as I hear he'll be camped at the track and he always party's hard!

Dear Mat..did you mean 8am ??? I talk to Rod frequently...Unlike Dangerous Dave & myself he can have big nights & lots of calories & he
only has to adjust manifold pressure to compensate.Dangerous & I are either walking, dieting or bike riding to attain a reasonable power to weight
ratio. Both Dangerous & myself know that if it came to a 1/4 mile 3 way challenge in joggers..we know who the front runners would be !!! The
ghostbusters is in reference to the bottom picure at page 3 !!! ps Andrew & Mat..what is this about being dummies....never run yourselves down
like that as there are plenty of people out there that will do it for you !!!.Regards..Ross.

Ross , for your infomation , I have so much power that I need to keep the front wheels on the ground . I will be fitting a rear view mirror to my car
now that you are going to Warwick just so I can keep an eye on how far behind you will be . I will be arriving at Warwick a day earlier , just so I
can gat a good camping spot close to the canteen , ROD.

Mat..bingo !!!Rocket is still up did you see the time he did the last post..10.22pm..Well Allison least whilst he is up you
must be enjoying all that respite !!! Rod we are just finishing off the last of the car a new reinforced parachute attachment. I have engineered it so
it can be used as a tow hitch so I can guarantee you that decent pass. The rear vision mirror is the best innovation to your outfit...it should
provide at least one beneficial feature...sufficient indication to prevent you from running over your pit crew when you back up !!! My only worry
about Warwick
is the possibility of a food shortage...Rod I think it is not far to town is that right ??? All jokes aside I am looking forward to that week end
& the putting of 5 & 1/2 years work on the track. So pleased to know that
Keegs (Silver fox Keegan) has continuing interest...At Castlereagh in the early seventies when that Camel car would stage all the crowd would stand up
as they do to the fuellers these days...Rod unlike you & I when we go out the fair
dinkum blokes will probably wander off to the toilet & the girls will readdress their make-up...Goodnight.Ross.

Ross , I will look for my pushbke today just in case they run out of food . Yes that's right I own a bike , I have had it for over ten years and the
tyres are still like new . I will look forward to finally seeing the car run again because I didn't even own a race car when it was last on the track
all of those years ago . ROD.

The only grudge match that will be better than Pagey and Westi with the "pink" saga last year will be seeing Rod and Ross doing the 1/8 on foot lol.

Thanks for the humour gentleman..this forum certainly has provided much enjoyment & laughs.Success is not about speed...winning is about the the
good humour & comaraderie when the cars are on the trailer in one piece as the driver !! Rod maybe you & I could have a grudge race on our
pushbikes at Warwick...but after all those years you have been 2 wheel inactive hence the trainer wheels will cause you too much drag...to be fair we
could do it on a dial you own basis & not heads up..Cheers Ross.

To be true to the era (of the cars ... not the gentlemen concerned) and style it needs to be dragsters with a 3 speed t-bar shift and a banana seat.

Do not give "Rocket Rod"too much encouragement especially with a prize purse attached. He is likely to turn up with a brand new custom made titanium
2 wheeler just made for Warwick & ditch the air cooled grudge match. His biggest challenge with him wanting push bike line honours would be what he
would have to purchase for an appropriate tow vehicle..Rod-a Lincoln Continental Limmo with a chrome trailer would be the go !!! Then we could go for
a lap of honour in the back of it,you could shout from the bar conveniently located near the leather seats when you present "The Royal Fitness
Trophy" to me & Rod try and source one with a pie oven !!! Now Andrew Westwood is
putting up a 100 bucks for the winner so you are not working with much budget..would you split it if we did the same ET ?....I would want a back to
back re-run...that wouldl test you if you haven't trained..Ross

Thanks for your support Mick...Certainly would make a good feature race.Dave B...yes need to be like Canberra
(3/1989) best of 3.Could you organise a defribulator to strap on Rocket's bike..better still I think we"ll pre-race connect it
to him.Dave you can ref the contest as the blokes he went to school with reckoned he used to fudge playing marbles in
the lunch hour..
At least if it rained we would have some entertainment support...I think I might bring a wet tyre for the rear just in case
...for a startline advantage.
