Hiya All,

_me_ mentioned Bullitt, recently voted the best of all car chase movies. During the actual chase sequence there are many, many VWs to be seen on the streets in San Francisco circa 1967.

As a matter of fact a fun pastime for VW types here in the States is to do a count of the VWs (T1s, T2s, and T3s) in the chase sequence. Next time you watch the film, give it a shot.

As has been mentioned, one particular VW Bug (a green 68) shows up in a number of scenes (showing that the editing lacks some continuity by the way) and each time it shows up it should be counted.

I'm racking my brain to think of a movie we saw this year that had heaps of dubs in it, but can remember (a seniors moment!)... was it 'The Knowing' with Nicholas Cage? Filmed in Melboure

Found this cool VW ad on Youtube

Sean Connory drives through a hippie bug with his stolen Hummer in The Rock.

And in Karate Kid there's a scene with at least two dubs in the one shot.

I watched Batman the original yesterday 2 beetles and a Kombi parked on the wharf scene.

Batman is a worry he could not tell it was catwoman when she was dressed in normal evening dress even though she said perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfeccccccccccccct. No wonder he only hangs out with Robin????????

What makes you say it's got no engine, looks like pea shooters hanging down under it to me, but why isn't it pushed into the car in front, stupid me thinks.
