Warwick week-end

GREAT Pictures Andrew , Dave. Good to see that the week-end was a big success ( Rod still smilling ).Our cars came back from Warwick with out any broken parts. My quickest pass was 7.67 and ran two passes at 7.68 and start line rpm was 6000,best sixty foot 1.58 .Most were 1.64 with little bogs or bounce on start line. I decided to shift gears at 6500rpm to keep running smooth and trying to settle car quickly.Best mph was 89mph over the week-end ( no carb changes ) Normally shift at 7200rpm. Quickest pass ever in old yellow car was 7.19 at 95 mph in year 2000 on the eighth-mile. Have great dvd footage from both days at warwick ,will try to put sum up ,on a video site!!!!

Still trying to find comparisons for WSID and Willowbank.
I think WSID is 70m, and Willowbank is 350m...still lookin'.

I did a little more research to find out a bit more about the elevation of the tracks above sea level.

Willowbank is about 150ft,(about 46m)
WSID is about 230ft,(70m)
and Warwick is about 1560ft!!(475m)

This, and the heat, explains why I had about .2sec slower ETs.

How did everyone elses times compare to the tracks at lower elevations?
