Just spoke to DB.
Good air, Good weather, sticky track, plenty of breakages (Dave was one of the lucky ones)
Rod Penrose had the quickest time with some help from the gas.
I'm sure someone will post all the info.

Yeah, more info please! ETs, MPHs, success stories, mishaps....anything in fact! I'm sure everyone is shagged though knowing how it feels on the
sunday night at the end of the warwick weekend so I figure it will be a couple days before the stories start to flow in

Hi everyone,
great day, went very smoothly, perfect weather except a slight head wind (10mph).
Sorry cant remember who won what, but great runs were had by everyone.
Rodney ran as quick as 6.40(also 6.43) with the nitrous and that was low ET...also he got best mph at 108.9 from yesterday.
Poor old Wayne/Boris/Birchall ( Vintage car) broke Rodneys spare tranny on the first run this morning,
The GOGGO broke his stock 40hp trans,
Nick ran as 7.0 and 100mph in the JUNKA(VIC), but looks like the MSE Vertical gate caused a shift fork to move.
Matt bERRY WAS IN THE 8.3 Zone ,
Craig VWMA broke a stock axle...
hmmmm, what else......
Hard to keep track whilst racing.
I had not a lot of success today.
Test run this morning was a
7.21@94.14
dialed in at 7.12.
first round blew it big time with a 0.392 red and missed shift but still ran 7.9@90mph.
Second round bye ran 7.11 on 7.12 dial.
Final round broke out with a best ever 6.96 with 1.45 sixlty(.408 light)

i WILL TRY TO REMEMBER THE NAMES of the quick 8 people.
Rod Penrose(6.4 dial in)
Mike Kristen(7.0 dial in)
Dave Butler(7.12 then 7.10 dial in)
Dave O'Connor (7.9? dial in)
The dude from Volkscare (8.0's dial in).
Grey 57'd Razor Ghia was runner up (dial in the nines 9.35?)
'Comic Book Guy' in his grey oval(cross on the door) won the final (sorry man I am a shocker with remembering names)
Stylin'(mid sevens?)
There was a bit of a stuff up when some guys could not front for first round,
and some slower cars were slotted in.
Unfortunately Andrew C and Matt Berry were over looked despite being nearly a second faster
than the reserves.

i ended up taking the turbo car down- on the first pass i run it through easy with a 1.98 60 time but stil ran 7.1 at 103 second2nd pass did a small
burnout used a few more revs off the line ran a easy 1.50 60 but lost boost in 3rd gear so got off it and ran 7.3 at 82 - the nut came loose on the
impeller wheel on the turbo- very annoying as i only just got it back from being rebuilt- but it showed some promise at least- sorry heath i missed

Sorry to hear that mate - does sound positive but not good just after you had it rebuilt. You should talk to bill at ATS in Marion about having it
rebuilt. Did the impeller go right through your engine?

Good weekend had by all. A very big thank you to Craig from VMA for putting on a great event.
Also a big thanks to all the interstaters that made it down to make it a great weekend.
Some very nice cars and good et's all weekend from a wide variety of cars and combo's.
Dave B is just a machine, Rod P doesn't care if he breaks out, as long as he goes faster, and Mike
was trying to put on a show for the fans and trying to sort the car with doing anything silly.
The S.A boys put on a strong front with some very nice fast cars. Adam D sorry to hear you had bad
luck again but your car looks awesome and will perform very strongly at Warwick this year I'm sure. David
O's red bug looks as good as ever and make some good power.
Thanks to all who made it a great weekend !!
