It is possible but I can't be sure just from a photo.
As long as the stator is 100mm is should be right, it has to fit into the VW generator housing which is 105mm OD.
The units I use have the 100mm OD stator and the smaller one I made has a 93mm stator OD.
Pick a unit with an electrical connector you can source easily, the end casing on the one shown is good as there are no mount lugs to remove.
