That's the tightest track I've ever driven on. ....
Just wish the car had been more friendly. After finding the problem on Thursday afternoon [thanks go to Wayne Penrose for his 'diagnosis'], and
gluing the broken intake manifold back together, Friday was much better. Although not running well, it was at least drivable. Thanks also to Wayne for
kindly offering a drive of his car .
As this was my first Valla [and hopefully not my last], I did not know what to expect. Unbelievably HUGE, and the Nambucca display was mind-boggling.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Well Valla's been and gone, and racing was AWESOME... perfect weather, a great tight little track and nothing but Volksy's runnin round it... what
more could anyone ask for ???

I had a great day racing Bluey. Thanks to Luke, Daimo, Onion, Stephen, Wayne, Dave and all the other competitors and spectators, your all guilty of
inspiration. I had a ball. I was sooo tempted to race again on Friday but was glad to enjoy it from the sideline, with a new perspective of the track,
and a complete car to drive home in.
In all the years of enjoying Valla, I haven't competed in a driving event since the days of the motorkahna on the grass.
Bluey ran a 2.09 best on my third lap, as the times progressively improved, until the last lap when a front suspension adjuster decided to self adjust
on the first corner.....from then on, I had all of about 30mm under the pan and found turning a little ....interesting.
