Did you see the pic? Rob pulled his pants up especially...

Rob, did you ring the bus company that nearly ran you over?

Hey
those bloody bus drivers are maniac's, Ive done a bit of truck driving over the years and those bloke's should be shot! Like Byronbus mentioned to me afterwards they are an accident waiting to happen! Tailgating me then Overtaking me at night on a blind corner I couldn't believe it, and those idiots have passengers on board!
Had a great weekend otherwise, Pige picked me up 50 bucks, and we had two days of traveling the northern rivers area! Pige and me had a bit of a bonding thing happeneing as well! Can't get any better than that!

Well I can tell you this, I really feel like ringing the company and asking for a please explain. The conduct of those drivers was totaly irresponsible! I could half understand if I was a roadblock or something but I was traveling at 55 MPH on a country backroad at night, not the sort of conditions for 60-70 MPH! I can say this, If I was on board I would be asking the driver to explain to me how that sort of speed could be justified, I can tell you from experiance that he would not be able to do that with any honesty!

Rob the drive home doesn't sound good....What sort of road where they on?

I've found that sort of thing in Bel...they see an old car and they are itching to get buy...I hate the tail gating....and feel like putting the brakes on but would now the consequences....and don't want that...

I do lightly touch the brakes to tell them to back off basically:cussing

I think we all end up cussing for a while after a drive like that......I know last year a cruise group I was in had a real dick head tailgating and cutting in for a couple of hundred klm's...not good

Depends, size doesnt matter, its what you can do with it...

I ride a 5'9, 6'6, 7'8, 8', 9'1 or 10'...depends on the condition, all the long boards are mctavish's, Bobs my neighbour, he looks after me...

Thought it was raining in melbourne

Hi Jenz
Yeah the drive was very enjoyable, even though the busses were a bit of a downer.
Pyro, get rid of those longboards, there for PPL who can't ride short boards! I got a 5'8" Skipp thruster with the centre fin in a box, Im a bit too heavy for that one now, but I have inhereted a 5'10" Mc Coy, single fin, late 70's early 80's vintage, in mint condition, now thats a board.

Yeah
I don't know what sort of drugs the designers were on back then. The Mc Coy has a bit of an over the top design as well!
The Skipp is just plain old white!
I have ridden long boards but give me a short board, perfect 6 foot swell and Im in heaven!

lol im actually more of a bodyboarder (i know damn speed bummps) but i dont mind whipping out the long board on the smaller days, like when its not big enought for a ride on the onld esky lid :P i think the biggest ive ridden a surfboard in was about 4-4.5 foot crumbly wedges i rode both the longboard and the Jet that day.

LOL...nice one Mandie....I thought my comment slipped under the radar.

I'm really not like that..i'm a cycling used to do a bit of cycling years ago.

I used to be into the rowing until the outburst by the chicks. my opinion is they are professionals and you can think things but just don't say them out loud...especially when there's cameras around.
Funny thing is I watched the press conference tonight and theres definately some bad blood there, which i guess is expected, but the girl in question seems to me to be indenial.

hmm id have to agree there abit of a shame how it ended isnt it.

i mean its all well and good for the athlets to say things but to publicise it infront of a camera i just cant understand why ?!?!

our beach volleyballers lost too didnt they :(

Yes things shouldn't have been said in front of the cameras but the girl who stopped rowing just didn't seem to be apologetic at all to me.If i had let all my other teammates down i would have at least kept the oars out of the water so they weren't dragging & the fact that its happened before well i think the selectors have a lot to answer for.Its just a horrible thing to have hapened for everyone concerned.:(

On a brighter note...........more sunshine tomorrow & a top of 23....yah!!
